Haunted House II Preview 2

Just because it wasn't permanent in other versions doesn't mean i can't hope for something awesome this patch and believe that this will be.

I'm loving the monster designs; and like everyone else, I hope they don't screw over the actually trainable areas with bizarre new mix spawns; I thought Nexon learned we didn't like bad combos of mix spawns when they released Crimsonwood Keep in August '08 and that's even why they were willing to release pure spawn maps later inside the Keep. I also hope the storyline will live up to the original.

Well, the next best things I can hope out of this are new possibly new permanent event equips. L> for a sexy permanent Face equip.

Lets hope we follow EMS on that one, no dang blessing outside the main-cygnus bond method. Even though you can create Cygnuses at the character creation screen directly, they'll just end up with 0 on their blessing even if you have other chars, and they won't add anything either.

Also even though I think you are right about the fact we won't get Arans this patch or perhaps next, the question is if SEA can move fast, why can't Global?

On that note, count me in if it isn't lame.

Because Nexon handling Global wants to take it slow and keep sucking money out of their players with eye-candy moneysucker traps such as Miwok garbage and Cash Shop Unsurprises?

This Haunted House event could be interesting... Even though i was not there for previous events, I have read the topic with the full story concerning Jonas, so I will have to see what this is about before making conclusions. Anyway, depending on how the level requirements are, this could be an interesting PQ. I wonder if this would be like the CWKPQ, with low level requirement, but a whole load of bosses that require 120+ to beat. Because if it is, L> Scandalians to PQ.

Sometimes I wonder if these updates will lead to Krakia and ultimately being able to go to Versal and fight Naricain Big Grin. Though with the way things are with Nexon having assassinated NXProse and executed NXJoe, it looks like that they will never be released.

Who says you need to go to versal to fight naricain?

Naricain being sealed there?

Seal is broken -> he comes over here the same way the twisted masters did -> proceed with the killing of him.

Then the build up for Versal would be for nothing.

IsaacGS Wrote:Just from everything we've heard about it, it doesn't sound like anyone's going to be training there. It's apparently incredibly difficult to even get to and most of the monsters' do damage that will OHKO most classes until 17x+. Don't make it overrated, there are a lot of problems with it. Is it possible we'll get it? Of course. Is it something to look forward to? If you're in the top .01% of players and belong to a class with HP, sure.

as for Aran, it's "too soon" from a Nexon point of view. We only just got Cygnus two months ago, or have you forgotten? We haven't even moved to the race select screen yet, or updated Blessing skill.

Listen to this man. That medal only lasts for one month.
Prototype Lords from Neo Tokyo (or in MSEA, Protoroads) seem like the only monster in Neo Tokyo worth training on, but if it had a pure spawn map, then all jobs (besides bishops) would probably move to them instead of skelegons/oblivion guardians or anything else that high levels train on.

There's a pure spawn map, but they stun you like a motherf'ucker apparently. No one would train there except people who can kill fast enough so they don't stun you, and those who can immobilize them.

I'm not going to judge this patch until it's released. For all we know those Exiled weapons that were in the JMS data may be released with this patch. Though, with the maker skill you'd be better off making normal reverse weapons.

Whatever it is, it's a hell of a lot better than fishing.

Also, anybody else realize Nexon's obsession with dragging arms on "spooky" characters?

Sadly, there is no pure spawn map, actually. The only map they spawn in is also full of Overlords.

Anyway, I hope this event is actually good. The only good event we've had recently is the agent event.
