I learned something new after attempting to use a 20 day hourglass on my ice cream bar. You can not increase the expiration date to be above 30 days. Also, it works by dragging the hourglass onto an equip as if it were a scroll.
Sorry for the bump.

Thanks for the additional info. The time limits make things a bit more balanced (you get to enjoy your extra items for a longer time but not indefinetely as long as you keep pumping in NX).

I am not sure if I explained it well enough. You may only have the expiration date be 30 days after the current date. However, if you do keep pumping NX into the game, you can extend the item indefinitely. The annoying part is that you can't do like 3 20 day hourglasses at once to get 60 days, but that you have to wait until enough days have passed to use the next one.

So you literally have to wait for all 30 days to pass before you can use a new hourglass?

Hotshot Wrote:Ohh, yeah that's not how I read it. So you literally have to wait for all 30 days to pass before you can use a new hourglass? No, not exactly. You can not extend you item past a 30 day expiration date. So let's say I extend an item that was going to expire in 1 day to expire in 21 days. I now cannot use another 20 day hourglass on that item. But, once the expiration date reaches 10 days I could use another hourglass and bring the expiration date up to 30 days, but the next hourglass wouldn't be able to be used until 20 days later. So, you can extend however times you want, assuming that the extension will not exceed a 30 day extension at any one time.

Holypie Wrote:Then how do 50 and 100 day hourglasses work? They don't, because they're only in Tespia right now. Presumably the 30-day limit will be extended when they are released in KMS proper.

The recent patch just removed the 30 day limit. It didn't add in the 50/100 day hourglasses.
