Red out line

um im not sure if all the problems in the tech help area is maple related but mine is some what related . when i play ms or look on photos on line i have this red out line , i also have this odd pink tone to everything that is white . like the time on the lower right is some what light pink .... and this is kind of bothering me . I tried unplugging and replugging the screen but its no good the red out line still there . another odd thing is my msn icon on the lower right is now a blank black square when ever I'm on it. plus help , if possible .

i had my girlfriend see the pic and see said the red out line isn't on the photo so im clueless

ok well i tried a new screen and same problem .. so i don't how to fix it , maybe with a graphic's driver but im not sure where i can find my graphic driver info and how to update it / change it and get a new one

p.s if i have to system restore the only restore i have is from feb , or atlest thats what the computer has as a whole system restore,

I see nothing wrong in the picture, but it sounds like something is wrong with your monitor. Do you possibly have another monitor you could try out?

Maybe your monitor was intoduced to something magnetic?

That fucks up the colors similarly to how you described it.

well its normal now , i restart my computer ( shut down ) and then start it up normal and its gone but I'm still clueless ... I'm not sure but it changed back to normal... kind of odd . also what was odd is when i logged on to my account on vista it said the color style was changed ... but i don't remembering touching with the color style.

Click the "Auto-Adjust" button on your monitor.

just a update about the problem i used 2 different monitors and 2 cables and it still has the same problem , and like i said when i restarted it had a notice the color style was changed ,im not sure if it was truly color style but it was color settings or something . i also dude a factory reset on my normal monitor that came with the computer and was still there . im still don't understand how the color was changed with out me changing it , i almost never touch with the computer settings , mostly just remove and add new programs.
