Does Sacrifice work against "Cancel Weapon Attack"?

I heard that many people said that it's useless for Hybrid DKs, since it drains your health. I thought it is useful, since you use it to activate Berserk and ignore monster's weapon defense. Of course you don't use it during training, but casting it can attack monsters with defense buff. If it doesn't ignore "Cancel Weapon Attack", then it will be actually useless. But why DKs don't max this skill?

No. We only use Sac as an alternative to activate Berserk, beside Roar, which is usually the optimal choice.

I seriously would love to see an implementation that prevents it from taking HP while in Berserk, making it actually worth using when Zerking. Ya know, maybe give PA DrKs a LITTLE bit of attacking power on a single target? Besides balrog, ofc, which nobody likes to fight besides me anyway.

Sac doesn't cost any hp if you're at 1 hp already...


Other than that, it's weaker than Crusher because 350% (stab/slash) is a lot less than 510% (all stabs). It's a little stronger than PA Fury but not enough to be worth 30 SP, esp. when it costs so much hp.

Does Spear Crusher and Pole Arm Fury work against "Cancel Weapon Attack" though? Because Sacrifice benefits on monsters with defense buff. Also, maxing Sacrifice can be less risky if you want to activate Berserk.

It could be even more risky since you're lowering your health even further down from the berzerk limit.

Only set damage skills go through "cancel weapon attack", Sacrifice is not fixed damage.

It just ignores the defense part. Cancel weapon attack has nothing to do with defense.

Also, since def is capped at 2000, going through it is never going to be THAT good, sadly.

Not a whole lot of monsters use def buff, I guess Skelegons do but they're gonna be 2-3hko by the time you get to them so they shouldn't have time to cast it.

And none of a Dk's skills work against "cancel weapon attack" so they're all equally bad. I guess you do 3 with Crusher instead of 1 with Fury/Sac.

Oh okay, then I guess that Sacrifice is pretty much useless, because it doesn't work against "Cancel Weapon Attack".

Once you have over 24k HP and go BF, you'll need Sac.
