Same here. I thought the TCG was pretty awesome - so I'm quite excited to see that I can keep playing it online. It was pretty hard trying to find people that played the TCG around here, anyway. =/

My point being, at least now we'll be able to find people to play with.

SethElite Wrote:God I remember when I used to play the actual card game (lol7yearsold), that deck sounds horrible.

I remeber when I last played yugioh...This year actually but thats not the point, I'm probably more in the group of people who would actually play this [aka i enjoy TCGs], so long as it's not too expensive.

SethElite Wrote:I can code my flash games to be unhackable with say, Cheat Engine or software like that. But unless they plan on storing your deck on a server people can just edit the .sol files to get any deck they want for starters. Also people will just decompile it and make a trainer so programs like Cheat Engine won't even be needed.

If you code your flash application to be a client with nothing more than a basic UI connecting to the game server and its your server that computes everything, you can't hack it no matter what you do unless you hack the servers themselves.

It'd be pretty hard to guard against packet editing. I wonder what they'll do to counter that.
