Stimulators
#1
How do they work with maker (As in how are stat effected)?

If there is no stimulator in the mix, does that mean all equips made average stat?

If the stimulator causes the forge to fail, what happens to the items?

Will jewels always add the same stat if a stimulator is added (Will a Advanced Wisdom always add +5 int)?

I read the guide, but it was very vague on this. Thanks in advance.

Stats vary even without stimulators, my crossbow turned out two above on att, and one of my overalls turned out one above in weapon defense and str. But yeah, if the forge fails with a stimulator, everything is gone. Happened to me with my first attempt at a reverse black beauty >_>

Stimulators used with maker always give a better result according to Isaac, if the item is made.

An Advanced Wisdom will always, afaik, add +5 int. The result may be higher or lower though, depending on the output from Dark Crystal and Black Jewel. Stimulators work regardless of that.

What happened to the items? And what gems did you use on the overal and crossbow that were successful?

I doubt it. A few days ago I tried making a green level 90 mage glove (+4 int, 2 luk) with a Stim, Adv. Wisdom (+5) and Basic Dark (+1). Outcome was only 7 int and no luk. x.x

Items can be made with below average stats iirc. I made a king cent with an intermediate diamond and no stimulator and it came out 75 attack, avg cent is 74 <_>. What happened to your glove is that it was made with +1 int/luk and the wisdom gave it +5 and the dark crystal gave it 1 int and took away 1 luk.

There's your answer.

Helpful hint: Read page 7 of your maker manual. If you threw it away, there's SSes/Vids of people explaining the correct answer.

YES! I get what happened now (Keenan, you're hella wrong btw F3)! Ok, base 4 int, 2 luk. The advanced wisdom crystal added 5int making it 9 int, 2 luk. Then the basic dark crystal (crystal increase AND/OR decrease goes 2, 3 and 5 as opposed to most gems, which are 1, 2 and 3.) takes away 2 int and 2 luk, hence your 7 int, 0 luk glove. -head nod-

But this doesn't explain what stimulators do...

And Russt, is the word Amherst?

Most gems are actually 2, 3, and 5 as well, from my experience. Garnet and Amethyst work this way (my advanced Garnet added 5 ACC)

Opal and Garnet are the only [2, 3, 5] gems...

My intermediate Amethyst added 3. The description also stated 3.

Read page 7 of your maker manual -_-

And it's been said already. Stims will either break your forging or give you a positive outcome (I do not know if nexon considers +0 a positive outcome or not).
