Maple freezes my laptop when I go into windowed mode
#1
Once I go into windowed mode, the section that MS would be taking up would go entirely black, as would any other windows I'd have open. I can't click on anything after that either, so I have to force a restart. I'm running WindowsBlinds on my laptop, I think that has something to do with it (even though I added Maple as an exception to the theme). If it helps, I'm running Vista as well.

Any ideas? MS works fine as long as I don't alt-tab or go into windowed mode (I always use windowed mode though).

Un-install Windows Blinds.. it's using up alot of your system resources and along with you doing alt tab with MS that is putting a strain on your performance b/c it's using up a lot of memory.. I had that happening to my Desktop as well, everything would go black at times (internet windows, MS, IMs etc.), and I have XP.

Had the same problem, it's because of windowblinds themes that use per-pixel (transparent) window titles. DirectX is very window-related, every small change in the window frame screws up things.
