Ok, I've heard people saying different things here. Ok, first of, I love Disturbed as a band, I really do. I love their music! People are telling me it's Metal, yet some others tells me it's 'Hard Rock'. I've went on a lot of websites that critiqued it, some claims it's Metal, some says It's Rock or Hard-Rock, once again. What do you guys think? Also, could any of you recommend me some bands as well? I'm into Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal. But I am not into Death Metal though, seriously.

Why the hell you need to decide excatly what genre it is?
Let music be music , if you like it who cares. I would recommend you All That Remains if you like disturbed.

Categorizing music allows listeners to find bands that are similar to the ones that they like. Imagine lumping power metal with doom metal. It doesn't work. That's the purpose of categorization.
