He was in Origins: Wolverine, though a bit of a letdown. I won't say any more about that, though. Ryan Reynolds is still qt.

I wished he had more on screen time, and not that silly Weapon XI business. Even Yahoo thinks he has the power to absorb mutant's skills.

But who is crazy enough to be able to emulate Deadpool? He'll be breaking the 4th wall so much that there won't even BE a 4th wall left to break.

K, this redeems the "ok" story part of Wolverine.

Haha, i asked a classmate in speech about the whole deadpool/XI/Wade thing, and he explained how in one part of the comics, deadpool starts talking about how he missed the sweet yellow speech bubbles. That alone would make me want to see this movie more than Wolverines. And if they keep Ryan Reynolds as him....ITLL BE PINEAPPLING EPIC!

oh yea, i read something about this that was an interview with Ryan, and its basically going to be like the Wolverine movie, where they show his origins as Wade, but im pretty sure they will give him his own movie that has Deadpool as well

Awesome, awesome. I have never really been too into X-men but I did read some stuff on some characters (including Deadpool) and from what I read, he is fucking awesome. That is definitely a movie I want to see.

For all those true X-Men fans out there, Deadpool from X-Men: Origins is very inaccurate.

He was not Weapon XI. He doesn't have two adamantium swords. He cannot teleport. He cannot shoot concussion beams. He has scars all over his body. He wears a red costume. He is a mercenary. He was not Wade Wilson; that was a name he stole he thought he had killed.And he can talk.

He had an viral cancer and joined with a Dr. Killebrew to recieve treatment. It left him with scars all over his body. The other participants in the Weapon X would bet in a Deadpool to guess how long they would live. He gained a mutant healing factor similar to Wolverine's due to a deep hatred of his captors. He escaped and became a costumed mercanary. And don't even get me started on Wolverine.

Still, cool movie, going to watch the next one.

It was stated in the thread for the wolverine movie that XI was in fact a clone, just cause they lead you to believe it in a movie does not mean Deadpool was XI. Wade Wilson is just a name as well, and the movie is going to be an origins of Deadpool, meaning it will be showing how Wade becomes Deadpool, just as wolverines showed how he became wolverine.
