Your favourite cure for spiciness

You people suck. I like spicy food and eat it like a man. But If I really wanna get rid of the spice I eat chocolate cheesecake with hot chocolate.

I looooove the spicy food though. I usually add this hot sauce to all my foods (550,000 SU's). I've even tried it plain a few times. xD

I'm even growing my own habaneros this year! Have to put up a greenhouse for them. xD

I never really feel the need to put out the heat, since I usually won't eat something too spicy for myself. I'll usually approach my limit, and then just pause from eating whatever it is until the burn goes down. I'll just grab anything except soda. Soda fails..

To counter an acid, use a base!

Don't ask me what are bases, though. I just know the theory, and it work, chemically.

Water. Mainly because spicy food always gives me hiccups, and I use the water to stop that... XD

Quantact Wrote:Try hot sauce at a good middle eastern restaurant. You will guzzle water like never before.

I know this. I had some real Indian Curry that would kill most people, and it almost killed me the first time I had it. But the second time I tried it, no effect at all. I was like, wtf

Pomegranate Wrote:going for a double post here but, try some REAL habeneros or even scotch bonnets will work. Eat a perfectly ripened one like dark red, eat the whole thing in one bite. Wait a minute and tell me how you feel. Nothing will prepare you for the amount of pain you will succumb to

Again, any type of spicy food won't work on me a second time. And I've tried countless spicy things.

Lemon actually works for Tequila. So it's possible that it might work.

I use in general crème fraîche. It's delicious and it removes the spiciness. Though sour cream and yoghurt works as well.

Try this.

You have to sign a waiver to get some. Dunno how good it actually tastes though.

This one me and my friends were playing around with last night. We were playing poker and were betting drops of the stuff. It actually tastes quite nice for a hot sauce, kinda sweet initially. Its pretty strong stuff
after each of my losses of 5 drops, my fingertips started to tingle. My other friend who had to take a total of 26? drops, he said his arms and legs were starting to tingle.

Milk + Chips worked wonders. We were playing without drinks... so lol.

I quit after my 11 drops. I was literally tearing up from how hot it was. All of us were turning red, and I was sweating.
