Does anyone actually buy Aura Rings?

And a lot of the people who hoard every extra point of attack also happen to be godly merchanters, so they have the mesos for it.
I agree with this statement. After grinding exceeds your definition of what takes "too long", you'll look for alternatives to leveling and one alternative is upgrading, which seems to be a much faster solution than the 5ap 3sp per level.

Also, the way 4th job is structured, in which all important skills get maxed first, the grindfest at the end would be very boring, to say the least. Without some objective to the game other than just leveling up which takes "too long", people will just end up quitting. That's why many of the high leveled people (above 18x) that you see are stat whores in some way.

lets see. 3.3k nx x 4= 13.2k NX cash that's the equivalent to 52.8mil mesos. so 8 stats for 53mil... that translates to about 1 attack for me. When I'm at the point that it will take me near max mesos just to upgrade any of my equips +1 attack, I think that buying these Aura Rings is a good investment =)

I actually use 4 aura rings (hard to scroll and count them all). Why? because i'm a stat-whore. Plus it's almost 1 full lvl of damage and the very high lvls are pretty long (4str and 4dex worth of damage for a warrior). In addition, since narcain pendent is much better damage-wise for warriors than ht pendant, the extra dex+luk acc is nice especially since i don't have an acc mask cuz i think cs glasses look pretty stupid.

Also, i'm making a noob archer and i don't want to have a high int base which will weaken my char as well as cost a lot of resets in the future. A mere 6 int base plus 4 aura rings already ensures 1 more mp per lvl up (in addition to all the int gears).

The way i justify buying aura rings is that it only costs me 13.2k nx every 3 months which comes out to be 52.8m mesos over 3 months (17.6m every month). It's no secret that nx is bought/sold at a 1:4 rate by players.

I don't think it's that bad meso/money wise.
You're better off with an Aura Ring rather than a Name/Chat Label Ring or other Ring effects.
I know a lot of people who buy Aura Rings too.

If I needed a few extra stats, I would buy an overall, but I see that higher levels might have a use for them.
