Everything is so slow....
#1
I have Vista, and recently everything's gotten really slow. Reloading a page on Basil or SouthPerry can take 5-20 seconds. AIM freezes all the time as I type. When when I log in to when I can use the computer ranges from three to seven minutes.

Any ideas on how to speed things up? D;
Can Dust slow down a computer significantly? Might be the problem. :/

Dust as in Dust?...

Anyway, try opening up Task Manager > Processes and sort the entries by CPU or memory usage. Might be a stuck program sucking up resources and whatnot. Assuming you haven't already restarted computer, because if you have and the lag is still there, then that's not it.

I turn my computer on and off everyday. :/ Rebooting is always my first response to issues on Windows. xD
Dust as in a layer or dead skin inside my computer that's had a year to grow. Just moved my computer out of it's cave, haven't noticed much. :[

well, try cleaning it inside. Are you running any new programs you didn't use before? did you try doing a defrag, antivirus, antispyware, CCleaner run?
