Before a moderator deletes this post, let me ask him a question. Let me ask him this profound question. Looking at the world from where you are standing, in contrast to, looking at it from about a distance of millions of miles away, will the world look the same looking at it at different perspectives???
I am not Michio Kaku or David Suzuki, but I think the real issue that our global society is facing today is something related during the era of christopher columbus. it is all about who is white, who looks more caucasian, having the so called more-desirable features in which western looks seems to imply.
Western Supremacy at its finest level. We live in a society where non-western are considered inferior, a pariah among the cast. Society favor those of white-descent way more in terms of job hiring, opportunities, human rights, and even in the court.
why do we not have a single documentary about "racism"??? all i see in CNN is about exploration of cosmos, or a space probe being launched and will reach pluto somewhere around the 2015, and they talk about global issue, our star (The "sun")will run out of hydrogen and will explode in around 400 Billion years in the future, just like all stars does, they have a limit of life. that 400 Billion years is 400 times the current age of our planet ("earth")when it was formed during collision of two planets and impact of asteroids, bringing water and life to our baren planet. that is not "global issue", that is called a "media spin-off" of turner's CNN. Do not make me look stupid, I have a degree in aerospace engineering, I graduated with accreditation from a flying school in ottawa, I am currently building my flying hours for CPL, I am a PHD undergraduate,... and i can tell you, that is not in any way related to global issue.
is looking beyond the cosmos really the "reasonable" insight on trying to find solutions to our global problems??? why dont we look in our own planet itself and you can see that the problem is in there and that is where we find the solutions as well. we dont need to look beyond, the answers are already in where we are looking from. Instead of investing trillions of dollars in space expenditures, why dont we spend that trillions of dollars in social research and development?? why dont we look at racism we have today and see that it is no different than what we had during the nazi period???
we condemn the man (hitler), but we do not realize that hitler is in every white man's blood. white people "is" hitler. even biologists cannot deny this.
As an asian person myself, I feel like the savage of narnia more than a fish out of water, and people who fall under the same ethnic background as I do falls under the same ilk. People of European descent (including the ones from the americas who have obvious lineage from europe) can portray the royals of narnia on the other hand. the type in the prophecy, the chosen ones who will free the world from it's bonds. their skin are described to be as clean as a spaded snow(as the media and magazines are implying), its already been spaded, you do not see anything but clarity.
this is all about who is white with pink undertone, this is all about who is caucasian. is fangblade white??? yes he is. why wouldn't he be?? he is dominating the scoreboard with pure prejudice. he must be white. to be on the top, you have to be white. it should be as society dictates.
the world had not freed itself from it's neo-colonialism, where white supremacy still dominates our society. The world is lost.
I had good grades in school (all of them are A+). I am also a hardworking and industrious person, but because I am not of white-descent, my chances of succeeding in life is miniscule. white people has the social advantage, they will always have the social advantage just because of their skin color and their facial and body features. this is not any different than the caste system we have in south africa or during the nazi uprising.
this is all about race. the study of anthropology and biology and even medicine is all about race.
we are close-minded people. we live in a euthopian world, much like the snow-white fairy tale, where people of dark-skin pigment lurks in the woods situated in void, it is completely impossible to find, where asian people are the stick people of alice in wonderland, we do all the service for the higher class noble (a slave to describe it in today's modern world), and where the whites can live a life of charming and non-ogre human form of fiona in shrek. you dont even need to do anything, we can cater to your need.
