As for music thread, we have the Currently Listening To sticky if you just want to list songs or link a video, the entire General Entertainment section if you want to discuss artists, albums, genres, etc, and the Expressive Arts area if you want to post music you created.

It doesn't warn you if the sig is larger than your allowed space. You can buy/earn bigger signature areas (I believe the max height is 300 pixels). Max file size is 1MB too.
