Oh, so that's what forces everything to the right? Gross.

Still, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Oh, I sort of enjoyed looking at random webcomics.

Is anyone else's PM page really squished on both sides, not just the left?

A lot of my pages end up looking like this.

I've compromised and made it only present on threads for now.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

That's the only place I have the problem with it, actually. Forum/Search page was fine.

After the change to in threads only, I no longer have the problem that Kirov was having.

Is it possible to have an option for opt-in ads? Right now would be the normal setting with the opt-in adding an extra ad here or there in exchange for Karma Points every once in a while?

I am still trying to find a baseline of survivability, so shelve that until we figure out where that is.

While browsing the site from my HTC One using the Google Chrome app, the ads that are supposed to be on the left side of the page don't appear for me, but the space is taken up regardless. I don't have any adblockers installed to my knowledge.

It's a joke, because the very day that I went to donate, Eos had removed the donate option in lieu of the market that was going to be implemented in the days following.

Never truly felt scammed, and honestly should've donated more given the years I've spent on this site.

For me it seems to have completely disabled the 'resize images that are too wide' functionality; now if anyone posts a wide image (or has it in their sig) I get it running off the side of the screen (so I scroll right, which hides the ad...).

i get the same, but i don't think it's disabled, rather it keeps enabling the same size as before from what i've seen (pictures always make me scroll the same amount) so it seems to be acting like if there was no ad to the left.

As an update to this -

This apparently is working. AdSense continues to give crap in that spot, as they suddenly do in most of them, but the hypothetical payout from Intergi, our alternate provider, is at the levels AdSense used to be.

The downside being that Intergi pays out further in arrear than AdSense (two months after the fact) so we are squeaking by on the last bit of our annual December traffic burst right now, hoping payday comes soon.

i didn't know the site was in such a lifeline that it pretty much was living paycheck to paycheck, geez. glad to hear that at least this thing is helping as annoying as it may be to look at.
