Edit: I've re-installed a second time and it seems to be working now.
I recently got a new computer that runs Windows 8, and I am experiencing a rather large issue with Maple. I can (usually) log in just fine, but after a variable amount of time (generally around 5-30 minutes, give or take) I'll disconnect and get this error: http://imgur.com/YTl30Eo
Google had people mentioning the same issue from as far back as November 2009, but I didn't see any mentions of a solution.
The weirdest part of this issue is that twice now I've played for hours with no crashes. Once when I was running in compatibility mode, and once when I was not. I don't think it's related to how long it's been since I started up my computer, because I tried restarting before running Maple and it didn't solve the issue.
I've tried re-installing Maple, running Maple in compatibility mode (I tried both Windows XP and Windows 7 mode), and turning off my firewall before I boot up Maple.
I'd appreciate it if anyone with an idea about how to fix this would speak up.
