Game of Thrones season 3 - A Storm of Swords

I caught on to the foreshadowing that Robb was going to get killed. Honestly, I'm not really all that surprised. In the time period that the show is set around, when you betray people you get killed if your betrayal doesn't kill them first. Yeah, it was "just" a wedding vow, but it's not the point. You don't fu'ck around like that and expect to get away with it by just going, "I'm sorry." Robb fu'cked up hard and paid the price for it.

I feel like Denyrs' (spelling?) plotline was completely overshadowed by the Red Wedding as well. That fighting scene was amazing, but in the end the highlight of the episode was the Red Wedding.

I do have to say that Bran's section was freaking amazing as well. "No more Hodoring!" from Bran was absolutely hilarious.

Also, I was so sad when Robb's wolf got killed, far more than I was for Robb himself. I feel like Tony Soprano sometimes (I've been watching that show recently as well), as I care more about those six wolves than most characters. Seeing another one die made me sadder than Robb's entire group getting slaughtered. Those wolves are freaking awesome.

Ok, so the Ramsay Bolton homoerotic subtext was already pretty heavy, but the Pork Sausage scene was too much even for me. It was both disturbing and strangely sexual.

Doesn't help that his actor is actually pretty attractive which just makes it seem even weirder.

He's also pulling off his role really, really, really well.

Yea I agree that they were laying it on pretty thick. I didn't get that impression from the books :f6:

Regardless, I really enjoy the scenes with Theon because they while they really mess with you, it is nice seeing Theon take some pomegranate for the decisions he has made. Although, I do feel that the punishment he is dealing with it more fitting for Lord Frey and his lot.

Regarding what is going to happen next season:

I'm seeing a lot of people angry that Game of Thrones is so bleak and that the heroes keep dying and the villains don't. So the next big thing i'm looking forward to is the "Purple" wedding (Get it?) Seeing Joffrey and Tywin die will completely turn peoples opinions around and i'm looking forward to the reactions.
