Unless someone was pulling a prank on me, which is unlikely considering only 2 people knew I was in horntail and they were in the other cave, then to the best of my knowledge it's a genuine GM.

My best guess is that they check who's in boss maps like someone else suggested.

It would freak me out too. I usually leave the Arm for last, and I'm unaware if a GM would even know that

a) The arm doesn't damage you
b) That people usually have afk there for drops....

So it could look fishy enough to ban.

I can't see the screenshot for some reason, but it's not the first instance I've heard of Gm's entering boss maps, I hear they've been warning people around Empress too, in Scania at least. But it's always via those Blue Boxes you press ok on.
