Revamp of the Novel : Where Earth and Maple World collides....

Okay, there are obviously various grammatical errors .. If you guys can or feel itchy to do it, correct it ? :f6: And please, no flaming... criticizes are welcomed as long as it is not really really offensive and it has a good reason along .
The novel is based on the contents running in MapleStory. However some scenes might not be relevant and its advised to treat it as a fan-fiction...

 Synopsis

Centuries ago... a group of residents on Earth were accidentally brought to a mystical place. They lived there for a long time, they called the place where they lived - the Leira land. They were welcomed and ruled by Ariel the goddess. That time, the world was a gigantic land traveling on the sea with a large forest on its rocky dorsal which was known as the Elin Forest. The residents decided to stay and then they built a campsite called the Altair Camp. They lived there happily ever after with the Tree Lord, Mossy mushroom and Moss Snail . But then, one day, Black Magician had laid his step from nowhere. He said that he's from a hidden land, he had made up his mind to plunder Leira land. But his actual plan had never been mentioned, he disguised as a friendly magician and tried to befriend with Ariel to seek her opinion on ruling the Leira land together.
But then, Ariel rejected his idea because she actually knew his true motive , then they had the most brutal war ever. Ariel was the only hope to save the residents, unfortunately , she fell into his terrible trap. Her power was absorbed by the Goddess 's Mirror and a cute but deadly bean monster was summoned.
There were still hopes, 5 legendary heroes fought and sealed the Black Magician successfully in the burning ElinForest, but Black Magician laid them all a curse, all of their memories and techniques were wiped.
By that time, before Ariel was getting absorbed completely into the Mirror. She laid her hands onto Leira land, breaking them, with some of them floating and some of them sinking into the deep sea.
The explosion they made that time cracked the hidden barrier between the Earth and Maple World. As time passes, the crack turns bigger and bigger.
Ninehearts the Strategist and Cygnus the Empress, decides to look for heroes to lend them a hand to protect both worlds. Ninehearts went through varies observations and investigations, finally found a potential target.
Jackie , a 16-year-old high school student who is fond of MapleStory and novel-writing, has ever wished that there's his very own organization, might as well named it as Maple Protection Squad (M.P.S) which is organized by faithful Maplers on Earth.. Without further ado, Ninehearts helped Jackie to build the quarters and the squad. When Ninehearts met Jackie, he was shocked by the overwhelming strange auras that went around Jackie. Jackie also has his personal band called Eclipse, during their performance for the Music Festival, Ninehearts did notice something harmonic happening to Jackie 's mystical aura.

As the happy days in M.P.S went , Jackie 's hidden ability became more obvious, the unknown aura grew tremendously, and then a secret news got passed to Ninehearts - a large amount of radioactive substances had mysteriously vanished from a few military sites. In order to calm the crowds, all the news reporters had to state that the substances were all from laboratories instead of military sites. However, what awaited them were the Black Wings, it's rumored that they had resurrected the wicked Black Magician to complete their forces as well !

Nobody knows what had happened before the explosion and what caused it to happen too,except for the instructors and M.P.S members. Jackie himself got sent to a land and he felt sort of Déjà Vu. It's Edelstein, a really peaceful, well-facilitated city, which was totally different from Jackie 's impressions .

Jackie didn't know much about Edelstein, however Brighton, the street cleaner treated him well, also for the town doctor, Miss Claudine who shockingly had the same look as Dr.Diong. One day,He went to the Verne Mine to get some Rues for Surl 's Experiments, he saw several little kids playing hide-and-seek at the dangerous mine. Due to numerous requests and begs from the kids, he made up his mind to play with them.During the game, he went into a glowing hollowed cave. Terrible scenes went into his eyes as he entered, his impressions for Edelstein were permanently changed...

Now, in a beautiful world with a lake that has its time stopped. with lands floating in the air , with an eerie mine at the depth of an icy cold field , with a demonic fish lying at the very bottom of the sea.

Yes, it's the Maple World. At the north of Maple World , not too far from Victoria Island, an approachable distance from Maple Island , a gorgeous island without a sign of evilness , Erev.

Erev is an island where Empress Cygnus , her loyal knights and also her Divine bird lie. You could always see rookie knights having their training courses in the Hall of Training 1, also for some experts to slay the duplicated master monsters as a test to obtain high-powered skills from their Instructors in the Hall of Training 3 and 4 . Some of the official-knights-to-be will have their tests in the Hall of Training 2. The knight instructors aren't always standing, sometimes they might have a royal teatime with Empress Cygnus and Ninhearts. Mostly, other than the Knights of Cygnus, the residents inhabited here are the birdy creatures which have the same race as the Divine Bird, they are also created by it.
Erev was once attacked by the Black Wings, a group of wicked magicians of transformations, puppets and cunning spells who wanted to revive the Black Magician. The fight could be counted as brutal, as it involves the safety of the whole Erev. One of their invasion caused Erev to get blockaded by Ninehearts, if you didn't arm with a research certificate, then you could not even access Erev because of a precious treasure thief.
For another time, an investigation to the Black Witch 's cave by a sergeant knight enraged the Black Witch, she then invaded the Queen 's Garden and then casted her dark magic.The Knight instructors, Ninehearts , Cygnus and even Divine Bird could not run from her petrifying spells.

Now back to the present, the Queen 's Garden had been very very quiet for a while. Ninehearts, Empress Cygnus 's personal strategist, was shocked upon observing the hidden barrier between the Earth and Maple World. Somehow, during the war since last centuries, the Maple World was somehow warped to the Earth, it might be Ariel 's idea. It happened very very fast, before the explosion happened, a very very instant warp occurred. Nobody even the Black Magician noticed about the warp,only Twelvehearts, the forefather of the Von Rubistein family, discovered that the Earth is right behind the hidden barrier. He found it odd because the waves of the sea had become slightly smaller, it seemed like an outside force pulled it like what does Moon normally do. Through his observations, it happened to be a very complicated warp. Eventhough the Maple World is right beside the Earth, however , due to the mystical power of the barrier, everything is partially separated, normally, if such warp occurred, two galaxies and dimensions would crash together and caused something terrible happened, but then, because of this barrier, nothing happened much. Until now, the same infomation was passed down by generations to Ninehearts, the last descendant of the Von Rubistein family.

Ninehearts drank his tea and started to have a conversation with Cygnus at her hall .

"Your Majesty , the barrier between the Earth and our world has cracked much more, and it cracks in an increasing speed,monsters or even the Black Wings can give a simple strike to the fragile Earth anytime they want , What should we do now ?" He looked indeed worried, somehow the anxiety is written all over his face. By right, he should be the one THINKING, but he seemed to be like out of ideas.

"Well Ninehearts..." Cygnus sighed and looked gloomy, she then continued after sipping the tea,
"Our knights are not as strong as I expected, this problem annoyed me since the very last battle with the Black Wings, if not that sergeant knight, the Knights of Cygnus must have been fallen by then,and now, this problem collides with a new problem - How should we protect BOTH world?" She emphasized the word "Both" , this shows that both world could barely be protected properly with only the powers of Knights of Cygnus, also hinted Ninehearts that she were out of ideas either.

Ninehearts suggested the last resort, the same last resort which was suggested again and again long time ago,"Your Majesty, why don't we ask for the help from the Adventu..."
"WE DON'T NEED THEM !" Cygnus interrupted Ninehearts with a shout and she slammed the table, she's not reacting like her normal self , the problems had been corroding the sanities in her heart for quite a long time.
"How could we ever ask for their helps ? It shows that we are weak , MERELY WEAK! We could never be as strong as the Adventurers, we could not be so legendary as the Legendary heroes like Arans and Evans..." Cygnus temporarily paused as she saw Ninehearts 's terrified face. She then only calmed down and sat down, and she resumed what she wanted to say.

"Ninehearts, I think we should ask the helps of the residents on the Earth, like what you had planned, but then we need someone unique and potential person to lead the whole organization. have you found it then?"
Ninehearts nodded and he tooked out a paper from his book at his side, he said that Cassandra, the Fortune teller, had told him that there's a very suitable person on the Earth, right on Malaysia, at a small town named Sg.Siput (U).
You see, Cassandra is actually more like an Event hoster, she rarely used her crystal ball for real fortune-telling. She is actually quite an accurate Fortune Teller other than Spiruna, the old fortune teller at a house in the Cloud Park, surrounded by Moon Pixies. Spiruna, somehow was a sergeant to Cassandra, she convinced Cassandra to do her job as she is getting old and weak and she still has to deal with the Pixies that mainly contributes to the fall of the floating land of Fairies, Orbis. Other than that, she needs to handle the Papa Pixie that seized the ancient where Minerva the Goddess lived not too long ago.


"So, now, my loyal Strategist, please go and find out this person and build up the organization as soon as possible" Cygnus was pleased and ordered Ninehearts in a very idiosyncratic tone, this is truly more like the real Empress Cygnus now, compared to the one just now.

"Yes,Your Majesty , I shall go now" Ninehearts took out the Pendant of Divinity out of his neck.
Pendant of Divinity is a pendant with the Divine Bird 's wing tied, every wing on the Divine Bird has its own special effect, only Empress Cygnus who accompanied it everyday knows which does what. The pendant of Divinity is specially for instant-transportation to any places, however, the user must know the place, including the location of the place.
He held it in his hands, the pendant glowed brightly and then a beam of light formed a circular spinning portal in front of Ninehearts.

"Farewell, my strategist, hope that you'll bring back good news..." Cygnus said it in a very light voice. After Ninehearts had left, she sat down and let off a sigh of relief.
"Why do we have to be sooo FORMAL ? I know I am a Queen, but I am more like a mere young girl out from nowhere, I know since quite a long time ago, Ninehearts likes me, I could feel it from his deep heart 's core.... that's what Divine Bird told me"




In the tropical country, Malaysia, it's a country with different types of races living peacefully there. Many foreigners like to pay Malaysia a visit mostly during Summer 's vacations, because of the breezy Genting Highlands with lots of entertainments and also Cameron Highlands with lots of natural agriculture that would please them from in and out. Due to the varies of races, the food and culture are varies too.
We should not mention the food here, it might makes your mouth waters endlessly.
To Malaysia, a non-seasonal country with hot and humid climate, for the "Spring" and "Autumn" we have, it's nothing but a raining season ; For the "Summer" we have, it's more humid and hot than usual ; For the "winter" we have, it's more like a colder day than the others.
During the "summer" in Sg.Siput(U), you might be begging for an air-conditioner if you are a student there, it is impossible to get one because it increases the electric bill drastically, also it consumes a lot of energy, by fair and by right, we should not have one. After some vigorous exercises during recess or P.E. session, your body might be extremely wet and hot until it makes you to think that you rather to be naked for the rest of the periods but however you can't, for the sake of the others' eyes.
It happened to be the third month of Jackie 's very first high school life, to him, nothing fun actually happened like those from the Japan animations he watched. He had nothing much to do, the busy school life has caused enough exhaustion to him. If you ever mention uniform groups to him, he might lets of a sigh of annoyance or hits you with his Jackie Chop. He rather spends his precious weekend mornings on a nice sleep or a nice gaming experience.

Those fun Japan-animations had been surrounding him for quite a while. His brain can't stop blasting off ideas, so, he had become an Internet novelist, he writes a series of novel known as "MapleDreamers - Maple Protection Squad (M.P.S)", it is about a school organization that goes around with adventures in Maple World, also the members are given with special powers.

He doesn't know that an eerie aura had been concealing in his body since the very moment he started writing the novel. And ironically, he's the person that Ninehearts was looking for.

During recess, after having the daily conversations / greetings with his seniors , he went back to his class, 4SC2 , and sat down. He ranted, "Ah ! This is boring ! Why can't things go like the Anime I know? Where's my school festival which erupts lots of exciting performances from the Light Music Club, the maid Cafe which makes the guys queuing up and drooling ? This is really REALLY REALLY BORING ! Why can't things go like the novel I write ?"

"Shut up you fool ! Have you done your Additional Maths? If not then sit down and DO IT !" One of his mean classmates shut him up rudely and then continued copying works from the others.

"There he is ! Observations needed !" Ninehearts stared at Jackie under his transparent Cloak, his eyes were filled with hopes.
