Well, yeah, something that long able to withstand magnitude 8 earthquakes and typhoons? YEAH RIGHT THAT SH'IT'S ONE BIG TARGET. Eventually a strong wind will blow that thing and this will happen all over that thing and halt traffic entirely, or ultimately collapse the bridge eventually

That's due to the wind managing to reach the natural frequency of the bridge, thus creating a vibration on the bridge which lasted long enough for it to shatter. I'm sure that won't happen anymore.

They should modify the end of the bridge so the final shape is non land mass connecting 'n'.

@ infection: i know that there are still alot of bad points about china (eg: corruption, child workers), but don't just look at its flaws. We must acknowledge that China had improved by alot.
