That's due to the wind managing to reach the natural frequency of the bridge, thus creating a vibration on the bridge which lasted long enough for it to shatter. I'm sure that won't happen anymore.

Its time for Americans (most of SP users here) to change their perception about china. China has improved by leaps and contains GREAT technology now. Don't forget that China owns wall street.

They should modify the end of the bridge so the final shape is non land mass connecting 'n'.

@ infection: i know that there are still alot of bad points about china (eg: corruption, child workers), but don't just look at its flaws. We must acknowledge that China had improved by alot.
