I posted this question in the KMST 1.2.330 extractions thread because the topic kind of took a turn in the direction of the Resistance...but I only got one or two (not-so-helpful) replies, so I figured I should post it here instead.
2nd Job Battlemages have 7 skills, each requiring 20 SP to max out. That makes a grand total of 140 SP. Battlemages get 3 SP for advancing to 2nd Job, apparently, and thus have only 123 SP by Lv70. That means Battlemages will be short of 17 SP. This rather large value leads me to believe that there might be SP received from quests, and thus I need some confirmation as to whether there are quests for Battlemages that give SP.
In comparison, 2nd Job Wild Hunters only need 130 SP in total. If they also have a total of 123 SP, then they'll just be short of 7 SP - this is a whole lot more likely to be intentional. Besides, Soul Arrow is best left at Lv7 to sync its duration with Booster...and Mine isn't very useful anyway.
