How does Maple Warrior work?
#1
I know this is a dumb question, but I do not know. Does maple warrior affect only your base stats? Does it affect the extra stats from gear? for example;

Say I have 50 luk with no gear on, and I use maple warrior.

My luk would be 57 (rounding down from 7.5)

Say I have 80 luk, 50 luk base and 30 from gear.

would my luk be 92? or would it only be 87? (30 from gear, 50 base, and 7 from MW)

Thanks Smile

It affects total stats. Both from base and your equips.

No it doesn't. Just base stats so your total luck after the buff is 87.

I've had it affect total stats myself. And I've had it affect total stats of other people I know.

Explain?

Lol? It only affects base stats. To explain your above post, read below. The skill bonus appears in the same location as gear AP bonuses, which may be why you're confused.

MW works by effectively "adding" a percentage of base stats to your overall AP stat, which shows up in the same category as additional AP from gear. For example, if I have 999 base INT and use MW30, I'll add 149 INT (again, sadly, it always rounds down). So, my INT stat after using MW30 would appear as "1148 (999+149)." If I had, say, 160 INT from equips, with my pre-MW30 INT reading "1159 (999+160)", the new stat would read "1308 (999+309)" upon using MW30.

Hopefully that makes sense. And of course, the skill affects all APs, all equally (so if I had 999 base INT and 23 base LUK, with no boosts from gear, my stats, upon using MW30, would read "1148 (999+149)" INT and "26 (23+3)" LUK).

As requested, my best explanation would be blindness, myopia, mathematical errors, or you're lying.

No.

500 base of a stat, 20 from equips, MW20 is casted and a bonus 52 of the stat is added.

Thank you this helps alot Smile This is exactly what I needed to know.

I guess THIS is another reason why "stat"-less classes tower over their normal brethren?

That's not what I experience on my mage. Not at all.

Afaik it's always been base stats.

Took a stroll over to a damage flaunting thread for picto proof -- this was the first i saw

I believe peter is correct. These are the screenshots he is talking about;

 Spoiler

This is the screenshot of no MW or Witches brew (so clean stats)

 Spoiler

This screenshot has MW 20 and Witches brew active.

In SS #1, Stereo's INT is 30. (4 base and +26 from somewhere).

In SS#2, Stereo's INT is still 30. Even with MW 20 on. If MW did affect equip stats, he would have 33 INT. So this confirms that MW affects only base stats.

My question has been answered Smile
