Battlefield - Bad Company 2
#1
So finally it has been launched, the best multiplatform online-game for the coming 2 years: Battlefield - Bad Company 2!!! Big Grin

This game so totally kicks ass, it pulled me away from maple for a while during the free online demo/beta period last 1~2 months. I've been a fan of the Battlefield genre ever since Battlefield 1942 (back in 2002), but this one is really really ground smashing! Smile

Oh yeah, for those who don't have a new 4000+ dollar PC at home, just play it on your x360/ps3, since this game is so massive, 99% of the PC's out there can't even get over 30FPS most of the time at max settings (while both consoles are steady on 60FPS, ok, ok, the consoles play it on 720p max, but you don't really notice that).

Well ok, here are some of the vids, enjoy! Oh yeah, you can blow up anything! No really, -ANYTHING-!!! Big Grin

Soooooooo, who else is also gonna play this epic game? Trust me, if you want to get rid of maple, try it, it works! Big Grin

I'll be playing it on xbox live btw, message me if you want to add me on XBL. Wink

I am ashamed that I forgot this was coming out until a friend pointed it out to me. I am also a huge Battlefield fan, so I have to get this.

I played the beta of this at my friend's house last week, t'was pretty fun. I blew up a tank with a sniper turret or something.

No heartbeat sensors, no care packages, no nukes, no kill streak bonuses. No botched aim assist. Bullets actually dropping with distance. Big maps with vehicles. Squads. Team-oriented gameplay.

Will buy, most likely.

Thinking of taking advantage of Gamestop's 50% extra trade-in credit to get this. I wouldn't mind giving up Modern Warfare 2 for a shooter that is a little less kiddie friendly.

I just beat the campaign, I enjoyed it. It didn't have the epic "OMFG RUSSIAN IN MAI COUNTRIES" feel but it was fun. Haven't gotten around to playing online but I'll start tomorrow, my gamertag is Dyxanije if anyone is up for a game.

I'm just bumping this thread since I don't really want to create a new topic about it. I just bought the game 2 days ago, and I am so impressed. I've mainly been working on my recon (don't worry, I spot and call in mortar strikes) and medic classes, and a little bit of my engineer (I got the drill). I'm close to unlocking the ammo packs for my assault. I love the recon class because I like to spam-spot and rain death from above with mortars, then pick off the enemy recons. You also get a nice feeling as a medic when you revive people, or throw them a med pack.

I'm kind of interested in finding Xbox LIVE friends so I can actually be in a squad that can work together, for a change. I try my hardest to help me squad out, but they're too used to MW2 where your team means nothing.

Anyways, if anyone is interested, my gamertag is Cancambo, too. My nephew and I share the account, so it won't always be me, though.
