Monitor goes power saving...
#1
Ok so... when I turn on my comp, right at the user selection screen the monitor goes black, power saving mode...
The only way I can make it work right now is pressing F8 at start and going VGA mode, but that makes my resolution 640x480, which is really bad, if I change it to max, or even to 800x600, it goes power saving again.
Any ideas on what I can do to fix it? I've checked everything is well plugged, I set monitor to never turn off and I even changed the monitor for my mom's monitor but same thing happens.

On a side note: Can anyone try and put 640x480 and run MS? It gives me an error and I'm not sure if it's that (before it starts I can't see the PLAY button cause of the size so I press Esc)

 dxdiag
Yeah, some things in the dxdiag are in spanish

Getting drivers, will edit with results.
This started happening... on friday, nothing different than normal day use, just turned on and it went black.

Edit: Yay you fixed it Big Grin I can't believe I didn't think of that earlier... Thanks a lot Smile

I have another problem now, but it's related to the same, now (at least for now) when I'm playing full screen games (MS and D2) my monitor goes black at random, it happened once during MS and twice on D2... Any idea on how I can fix that? (yes, monitor is on never off, also it happens at random, not every x time).
To make it work again I have to turn it off and on... then it will work for another X period of time, it's really random...
EDIT: It's happening really often now, really annoying to play D2 and certainly can't play MS (I'd die way too much cause of screen black outs...) When I turn off and back on it stays on for like 2-15 minutes and then goes black again)
Edit2: It doesn't even need full screen now, it just happens any time, if it keeps going like this I'll go back to the original problem in the topic...
