APQ apple chances
#1
I've apqed some, but I've not been able to figure out which gives me the better chance for apples. Is it better to go with your partner, or for you and your partner to get two parties and do 2 apq's.

On one end, the more apq's you do, the more chances for apples. On the other hand, if you do them together, you have a better chance of spawning on the good platforms, and finding apples, but risk running into each other's loots.

Opinions? I plan on marrying another of my character's to my gf's so we can apq more. I figured it was a good time to finally get other's opinion's on it.

I personally think apqing together makes more sense just from a "fun" perspective though from a logical perspective the best option to get apples is for seperate pqs unless you take into account the possibility of apple thieves

The apples are equal... its like eating one meal with two chickens in comparison to two meals with one chicken in each. Its the same.

But do these chickens have a drop rate? Or to follow the example... these chickens only have a chance to make you full, but sometimes don't. Hurt

AFAIK You don't get any bonus in apple drop rate by being with your spouse.

That's not what I was referring to. I mean, together you have the chance to get more of the boxes for yourselves, and can loot each others drops. Alone, you have more boxes to open because you do more apq's. That's where I'm coming from.

Of course, the more people you have going with you the more chances you will have at getting apples.

Looting each other drops is sort of useless, and you dont really have more boxes to open when you are alone.

2 people get at max 8 chances at apples a day.
You lose your chance at an apple if someone disconnects or dies.
If you apq together, and someone disconnects, you lose 2 out of your 8 chances, instead of just one.

The minor advantages of a possibly increased chance at a good platform, or salvaging each other's drops, pales compared to that.

Hence, it makes economic sense to apq separately.

Yes but if you do APQ seperately theres twice the chance that someone will disconnect.

As i said before.... ITS EQUAL.

You can approximate chances, but its true that nothing is for sure with these things. I never apqed with my spouse because i cant play two computers in the same time, but if you can I would say go for it... stop thinking about the apples, apqing with friends is fun.

I can only apq with my gf. None of my friends are really married, and if they are, they either don't apq or always do it at a different time. Just to clarify.

I just have so much bad luck with apples, that I'm looking for a way to increase my luck. And when I say bad, I mean bad. I sometimes go 10+ pq's without an apple... Frown

Your chances on getting an apple is only effected by how fast you break open boxes.

Your chances are random. End of story. I met someone that got 4 apples in a single run, without stealing, and I have been on apple thirst for a while now.

With a pet, it doesn't really matter.

It's a 5% drop rate no matter which way you cut the cake. Break boxes as fast as you can. Fin.

Whether you are in a PQ with your spouse or not, there are gonna be 6 people in the bonus map. I don't think it's an advantage for you to know one of them, unless the other people act like jerks to you about boxes.
