Emoticon issues

I've been having this problem for the last 2 weeks, i believe it came with the emergency patch. I can't get my emoticons working at all. I even went to the keyboard settings & went to default & they're still not working. Should i re-install the game? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

is there an F mode key on ur keyboard? If so tap that key, and Hopefully it should work.

Nope, same issue :/.. I REALLY think it's the patch. I un-installed and re-installed the game client & it's the same thing.
