I`m planning on just bossing for a few levels when I come back, maybe til like around 155-157? currently 153, which of 80% of it is probably bigfoot, and my shield sold for 1.8b, not intentionally lol, pretty sure I can easily get a 125+ 2H with that, and for bigfooting, 2H is better, as I can just stand on a spot and spam, and probably does more damage overtime than a lunchbox, plus I`ll be doing like 53-55k per brandish rather than 48-50 on bigfoot (on apple, and apples favor 2h too). More damage overtime and per hit =o. Plus I can also save up by sellin toes/leech or w.e.
What should I do,
go 2H for a while, or just buy back another shield ? I have a month or few to decide .

As long as your supply of onyx apples doesn't run out, 2h weapons will beat 1h+shield configurations.
Otherwise go 1h+shield. Your figures you provided are pretty close, and don't forget that speed of a weapon matters. In terms of DPS, your 2h figures would be roughly 70k damage compared to 1h's 68k (just making those up on the spot).
EDIT: Oh wait, I forgot that speeds with booster have a significant difference. Unless your 2h sword is a Fast(5) sword, you should stick with 1h+shield.

but then wouldnt that mess up the knockback with bigfoot? part of the reason he wants to go 2h is for the slower speed that works better with bigfoot.

Correct lol, most of the bossing is at bigfoot, brings in most EXP too. I can always convert back to 1H later, my lunchbox ain`t going anywhere lol.

Well, with BF in mind, I'm not sure what weapon speed would be optimal for timing. If you're able to get two hits in per KB, then you're good to go xD
For everything else, what I originally said applies >_>
Also, who's to say that Nexon won't fix the KB glitches in CWK? They said that they didn't particularly like how it turned out.

for bigfoot, i find it annoying that i have to pause after 2 attacks with a lunchbox in order to not miss a hit. you can wait 2 days and see if nexon fixes it... if they dont, get a fast5 2h (if thats slow enough to always hit bf). if they do, lunchbox owns all.
kajiti said everything else i wanted to say. :/
i can add that for appled powerstrike dps, fast4 is favored to normal6. you need about 97% of a normal6 sword's w att on a fast4 sword to equal in dps. dont know if the difference in brandish's speed changes that. dont feel motivated to find out right now because lunchbox is the godliest stupid sword ill ever be able to afford.

Fast (5) is too fast, plus with LB, I can land 3 hits by going right in front (enough to make it spam jump), but still, I`m a lazy man and powerstrike is faster than brandish if you`re factoring in final att. and sometimes when I get wind booster during bossing o_0.
Thanks for the answers, when the patch come, could someone post here if the KB glitch is fixed? thanks. I won`t be on to find out lol.

I've tried with with 2h fast5 and 2h normal6 and you can only land 2 hits and then you have to stop for less than a sec to attack again. If they fix it then lb will be the best sword period. If they don't fix it, i think you will have to make that little pause no matter what... Or try with Berserker >_>

With booster, that's makes it Normal(6).
For comparison, The Beheader = Slow(7), booster drops it to Fast(5).

To ThomasLuther, With booster with normal 6 sword, you att from at least 1 inch away, and you can spam it perfectly. Not go up close to it, or it`ll mess it up.
and to above, booster is like 1.x speed raise, not 2, otherwise, we can just use LB without booster and it`ll be perfect like normal 6 with booster =/, but I tried.

One-handed or Two-handed is just a choice of your likeness.
If you like playing a One-handed, play a one-handed, and vice versa. But when damage comes looking around the corner, I can imagine you hesitating what's the best for you.
Play around some bit with HS damage calculator, and see how much attack a LB+Shield would fit for a 2handed weapon, then look for about how much mesos each one would cost, and then reconsider which one you want. If you have the fundings, are a Hero and Time leap is available, a perfect Dragon Carabella would outdamage a perfect LB and a perfect Shield combination!

I think you ment Speed Infusion, and not Time Leap right?
And you can't choose any Carabella, it would have to be at least a 109 att clean one.
And even in that case, it wouldn't be better, they would be the same, because they will both have 144 att, the only difference is that if you are using carabella, you would need an extra party member (buccaneer), just to give you speed infusion. If you don't have him, Lunchbox is still better.
It would be better if it was a 110 att clean carabella, but i'm not sure if those exist, but then again you still have the problem of an extra party member.

not only did he mean speed infusion, he also meant dragon claymore and appled damage.
interestingly, an absolutely perfect shield is 48 att / 29 str from chaos scrolls. you didnt take that into account jasperr, and it means lunchbox still wins >.>
but you had a damn good try.

I've done extensive testing with various weapons and speed booster. A statement from Lazybui's attack speed reference sticky also partially backs this up. I've never got my hands on a Beheader, so I never had the honor of testing it.
Guide for the Page, White Knight and Paladin Wrote:Attack speeds for different weapons[5B43S]
These results are obtained by holding down the attack key on the minute, and continuously spammed until a minute has passed. Any error in measurement will always result in a larger amount of fractions of Blasts attacks. Errors can, at the largest, be 1 Blast/min.

The thing with the lunchbox is that it has the highest base attack of any clean sword in the game, as well as being fast (4), which makes it so hard to beat.

78/min with 1h BW vs. 95/min with 1h Sword makes me sad. On the other hand, Speed Infusion does nothing for a Lunchbox, but boosts a Crushed Skull by 20% damage.
