concerning bigfoot & the horseman
#1
hunting might be cheaper than buying a pendant for me at the current situation

Q1. exactly how much ACC do we need to land a consist amount of attacks on it?
Q2. how much HP is advised for hunting Bigfoot?
Q3. out of how many Bigfoots drop a Toe?

same questions apply to the horseman lol

1. I don't know. Someone with an Acc calc will tell you. I don't care because I'm a Bowman. Lol

2. For ranged, it doesn't matter. Ranged people can (almost) never survive a touch from BF, so they simply have to avoid getting hit.
For melee, it's best to have 10k+ HP to be safe. Without Power Guard, I think 11k or 12k would be the safe amount.

3. Toe's are pretty rare. From my several battles with BF, I've killed far more that have not dropped a Toe than ones that did drop one. However, it's all luck.

It doesn't matter. His stomp attack always does 1 damage to everyone (except Puppets ;_Wink.

Concerning HH:

1. Use the accuracy formula in the Formula Compilations thread. It depends on level.
2. He does about the same amount of damage as a Nest Golem. 2900 should be more than enough if you have a good amount of defense.

A1.) Headless Horseman has 42 avoid, so you'll need about 154 accuracy at its lvl (101) to hit it 100% of the time. 1% hit-rate is roughly half the accuracy required. If you are below its lvl, then the maximum hit-rate accuracy requirement goes up just above 5 for each level you are below Headless Horseman's level. So if you're lvl 91, the maximum hit-rate accuracy required is about 210.

Bigfoot's avoid is... well, crappy xD I don't think you need to worry about it so much.

A2.) Bigfoot does an excessive amount of touch damage last time I remember. If you're melee, you should consider having at least 13k to be considered safe. Anything lower and you could risk death.

Headless Horseman doesn't seem to do more than 2900 damage unless your armor is crap.

A3.) I dunno. Figures for Bigfoot Toe drops could be anything between 1/6 to 1/14. That's what my FP friends tell me anyways.

Headless Horseman drops a Jack'o'lantern every 4 kills roughly.

As I have an HH head and BF toe (went hunting with guildies a while back), I can tell you the droprate for heads is significantly higher than that of the toe. We went through six BFs before finding a toe, but we got a head on the first HH we killed.

At the same time, I've watched 3 different HH kills and have yet to see a head. I had a friend solo BF for me and a toe dropped, and that was only a single one. It is all luck.

It would be logical to assume that the toes are a bit rarer since there are a lot more BFs out there to hunt as opposed to HHs. The ratio is, what, 7 BFs:3 HHs? :X

I think there are at least seven horseman spawns: the map near the haunted house, three crossroads, the leprechaun farming map, the elderwraith map, and forgotten path. There might be another signpost or two with the spawn though, and I think horseman spawns a bit more often than bigfoot. I went through six horsemen before finding a pumpkin, by the way.

Oh wow. Nevermind on what I said above then. ~_~ I thought it was just the one by the haunted house, the one crossroads, and then the one where both BF and HH spawn. I was way off though. D:

Haunted House Map, 3 XRoads, Signpost at Haunted Hill, Signpost at Bent Tree, Forgotten Path, Signpost at Forgotten Path. That's 8, and that's all of them, I believe.

Don't be discouraged if the head doesn't drop after a while. It took me 33 whole Headless Horsemen just to get one darn head. :|

And then multiply 8 by the number of your respective world's channels... that's how many possible spawns there are. o_o

I got 1 head in 1 HH.

Still no toe. >_> I've attended maybe... 6-8 bigfoots? I don't know who kills them on bera anymore so I don't see any.
