I could easily post a post in the sticky but since iam so noob with warriors..I would probably need a whole thread.
Ive never understood warriors so you might have to spoonfeed me..
Anyway, the "only" thing i know is that they/all classes needs accuracy to hit monsters.
And I know that dex is 0,8 acc, luk is 0,5 acc, and accuracy raise by levels until your level is equal the monsters level.
If you have less APs into dex, means that you get stronger. But you'll have problems with hitting alot of monsters when low lvled.
Will warriors training path be boring due less spots to train on?..because they're so picky at the accuracy?
Like i calculated out ex. 78 acc to hit Master chronos, and i train there for 50% and now i want to go to Jr.yetis, but sht i dont have enough acc. Like..its limited, aint that boring?
So basically, how do warriors think? Because i play as thief fulltime :|
And we dont think about acc at all..
Low dex, and go go go!
Again, sorry for bad grammar/english and other failures.

With new equips that have been released, getting enough acc for a warrior is no problem.
The max acc a warrior usually shots for 139. Thats the acc needed to hit some of the higher level monsters. You will need more than 139, but you can get the rest from sniper pills or a priest/bishop.
The majority of acc will come from equips and some from a skill. All warriors have a skill called mastery. It automatically gives an extra 20 acc as long as their weapon of choice is equipped. The rest will come from equips. The most valuable equip will be the Z-helm. Warriors also look for scrolled overalls, scrolled shoes, scrolled earrings and to a lesser extent pendants and scrolled capes. Items like raccoon masks and branch noses also help out with acc.
If enough acc can be acquired from the other equips, some warriors will choose to get with a str top and dex bottom as opposed to a scrolled overall.
As for training early on, its been proven that with the right equips, warriors can make it into the late 70's or early 80's with no more than 19 dex. I can't remember the equips needed, because the method came out long after I leveled past that range. But usually the equips are cheap and scrolled with nothing more than 100%'s.

It very much depends how you want to train. If you want to go to tough monsters earlier (eg. CPQ/LMPQ mobs), you need higher acc in 2nd job. If like me you're willing to stick around at low level fast exp monsters a little longer (Fire Boar, Block Golem, Straw Target Dummy, Forest of Golem, Voodoo/Hoodoo can take you from 30-75), you need less acc (on the given monsters max acc is ~80). I know you can get to lv.80 with no more than 4 base dex because I've got the gear for it. Wasn't on my first or 2nd warrior though, but nowadays with all the additional items it's possible (my Paladin got Zakum Helm at 110, Fighter got it at 53... so that makes a difference in what base dex was needed ;o)
Lawl, iam in EMS so its a big difference of what you can get of equips there.
Zhelm are worth 120m, like they USED to do in GMS..before it went down to 80m, 50m and now..25m? O_O"..
And i just started on EMS for a bit ago so i dont have any money xD
Lets say you cant afford any more dex stuff, but you still need X dex more to train at Y monster. And that monsters lvl is 7 above your lvl, and when your lvl is equal monster Y's lvl you got enough acc. Because acc raises when lvl raises until lvls are equal o_o"
And you currently train on W monster, do you have to stick at monster W until you lvl 7 lvls more?!
Aint that super-duper boring? D: Especially if the exp sux.
Sorry the unknown letters, too much math for me today. Did math whole day, math test tomorrow. And sorry double post. But i thought u already had read my recent post f3
Tough call. I can't think of too much that you can do in that situation.
If possible, a cleric/priest's Bless would help. There are always
Sniper pills too. And if you're tapped for dex/acc equips then...
You'll have to face monster Y until you either reach the desired level
or find an equip that can help you.
Just so you understand, accuracy does not increase when you level up, the required accuracy to hit certain monsters above your level decreases.
So say you need 100 accuracy to hit something that is level 55 and you are 50 with 80 accuracy. When you level to 51, the 100 accuracy needed goes down to like 97, but your accuracy remains 80 (unless you put points into DEX or *shudders at the thought* LUK). Also, note, the numbers I used were hypothetical and in no way actually calculated out, they are only there for showing the example.
The exact formula to determine your hit-rate on monsters has yet to be determined precisely, but as far as I know most of them are accurate enough.
If you were to scroll equipment for str or for dex, you're better off scrolling for dex, as not only do the scrolls give you dex, they also give accuracy. It's a two-for-one deal! On the other hand, there isn't any real substitute for str.
Here's a few things that apply for all warriors:

Hit Rates
[SIZE="4"]Accuracy Requirements and Percent Hit-Rate Formulas[/SIZE][4S40D]
Having a lot of accuracy isn't everything, the level difference between you and the monster also matters quite a bit. Result answers for accuracy requirements are rounded off for the final answer. The formulas presented here may or may not be the exact formulas, but they come incredibly close to the real deal.
Code:
If (Monster Level - Player Level) > 0,
Accuracy for Max Hit-Rate = [55 + 2 * (Monster Level - Player Level)] * [(Monster Avoid) / 15]
Accuracy for Min Hit-Rate = [55 + 2 * (Monster Level - Player Level)] * [(Monster Avoid) / 30]
Current Hit-Rate = [Accuracy / (Accuracy for Min Hit-Rate)] - 1
Otherwise,
Accuracy for Max Hit-Rate = 55 * [(Monster Avoid) / 15] = 3.667 * (Monster Avoid)
Accuracy for Min Hit-Rate = 55 * [(Monster Avoid) / 30] = 1.833 * (Monster Avoid)
Current Hit-Rate = [Accuracy / (Accuracy for Min Hit-Rate)] - 1
Proof that accuracy is better than raw damage
[SIZE="4"]Proof for optimizing damage: 100% accuracy[/SIZE]
DEX may not matter much when you're looking to increase damage, but if you can't hit the monsters very well, STR isn't going to do you much good either. This is the nightmare many no-DEX Warriors are looking to avoid, and massive damage won't happen if they can't hit anything.
Assume player and monster levels aren't an issue.
Code:
Total average damage output:
Average Damage * Hit-rate, where 0 <= Hit-rate <= 1
[[STR * 2.3 * (.9 * Mastery + 1) + DEX] * (wAtk / 100)] * [Accuracy / [55 * ((Monster Avoid) / 30)]]
We'll alter the formula a bit by taking a look at what happens when you take away from DEX and increase STR.
Next, we'll use derivation to find out the change in the total damage output, but in order to save us as much ugly math as possible, we'll break down the equation into simpler components for derivation. If you don't know what derivation is, but you know precisely what position, velocity and acceleration measure, think of velocity as the derivation of position, and acceleration as the derivation of velocity. This isn't exactly right in terms of math, but it will do. Otherwise, just bear with it for now.
In the next step, we'll find where dy/dx = 0. When dy/dx = 0, that means the tangent line at that point in the equation has a slope of 0 and is a point of interest. It is also the point where the slope of the original equation switches direction. For the people who are less oriented with math, when dy/dx = 0, that means we've found the "peak of the mountain" for the original equation (the second formula in this CCF entry). Technically it could also be the "very bottom of an ocean trench", but I'll let you know the original equation looks more like a very narrow rainbow (parabola) for any amount of STR, DEX or Mastery, where DEX isn't insanely higher than STR.
In order to find where dy/dx = 0, we'll drop the end of the derivative equation,
Code:
[wAtk / (1100 * (Monster Avoid))]
since it doesn't really matter what this comes out as for the purposes of finding dy/dx = 0 (if dy/dx =/= 0, then it will matter). We'll also assume that x = 1, meaning that in the original formula you subtract DEX and .8 Accuracy, but add to STR. This actually creates an illegal character in the game as it already has 4 DEX to begin with, but this is all in the name of theory.
Pretty much the same result as far as Warriors are concerned. Since the left of where dy/dx = 0 on the x-axis has a positive slope, we can be assured that increasing your DEX, and thus your accuracy, results in more damage than increasing your STR. This holds true until you have a hit-rate of 100% for any monster (except the "invincible" monsters, which require about 1832 Accuracy to hit 1% of the time).
Keep in mind that this proof only takes into account what happens if you substitute AP (such as with AP resets). It cannot easily predict what will happen if you upgrade your equipment.
I will just double post instead of making a new topic.
Taken from my SW post, since 90% there keep whining about to raise my dex or quit >_>
About: Sacrificing atk for acc.
Quote:Iam a bit unfunded so i cant upgrade to hardcore equips yet. I gotta find small upgrades. And i have this 7atk glove from a friend, iam borrowing.
And i wondered that if i could sacrifice those 7atks for a 10acc glove?
Would i still do good damage? Iam low dex and stuff.. :/ But a glove like that is cheap +it makes me able to hit monsters like 2-4 lvls earlier, which is AWESOME.
And iam lv 49.
What do you think? Iam also a fighter, so rage kinda adds up for the glove. But yup..
My eq:
3 dex, 1 acc bamboo.
14 dex chainmail
3 dex shoe (clean lv 50 ones..)
7 atk glove as mention, i gotta buy the acc glove..i think a total of 10acc costs around 1m?
100%'d lionheart. I got a 100%'d lions fang too, but according to many lionheart is still better... :O
Also rage increases my dmg with..100 or so in atk range, and the glove about 70-80.
Dont remember exactly
7 attack is a good bit, but accuracy is more important. dont worry about mediocre damage if you can hit the monster all the time and the training is still better than elsewhere. if the training sucks, use your att glove at a lower level place and suck it up.
save for a zhat or something. just like, put 1m into storage each week. youll get there eventually.

Also..
55 * [(Monster Avoid) / 15] equals 1,833 or 3,66? Makes no sense :[
55/15 = 3.667, while 55/30 = 1.833. Simple, no? Btw, don't confuse min/max hit-rate formulas. You should concentrate on the max hit-rate.

But whats your thoughts about this?
Getting 100% hit-rate on the monsters you train on should be your top priority. As long as you can achieve this after you lvl up sufficiently (say, at the monster's lvl at least), you can focus on damage and have little care in the world. At least until they release higher training lvls where the monsters have higher avoid.
The reason why people say the Lionheart is better is because it's a 2h Fast(4) sword. That's a pretty godly speed compared to the Lion's Fang, which has Normal(6) speed.
If you somehow get your hands on a Japanese Map (which I'm told drops from Leprechauns in Phantom Forest), use that instead. It's also Fast(4) speed, in addition to 2 STR and 2 DEX! EDIT: Nvm xD
