Out of Frequency

I asked my extremely intelligent -cough- friends before posting here, but no luck.

Keep in mind, this never happened to me until I installed the latest patch for Maplestory. Now, everytime I try to run the game, I get the following error:

Out of Frequency
HF: 77.2k HZ
VF: 120.1 HZ
Operating Frequency
-insert shut down time here-

And then my monitor will shut down, but the game will still run. I tried googling a solution to this; running windows in Safe Mode/VGA mode and playing around with settings and it's still creating a problem.

Help? :<

I use Windows XP if that helps any.

I think your video card drivers don't like MapleStory trying to force 800x600 Resolution onto your monitor.

Try setting it up in Windowed mode, and tell us what you get by doing that.

But unfortunately, my friends, Laury is back on Maple and is terrorizing my orange chat as we speak.

Thank you to xtothel for not only making me feel like a complete idiot for not trying something as simple as that before, but for helping me It worked. After I spent around 7 hours trying to figure out what was wrong.
