The holidays are here, and with them comes the Wintertide events! All the towns of Altera have been decorated for the occasion - a peaceful glittering snowfall sets the mood in Ironwood, Mana Ridge, and Carderock. A giant Christmas tree has appeared in Saint's Haven near Irine. You can even hear holiday-themed music playing in town.



Santa Orc

An orc has appeared underneath the giant Christmas tree. But not just any orc—it’s Santa Orc, and he has a challenge for you! Meet up with Santa Orc in "Santa Orc's Run" in the Daredevil Faire. Your objective is simple: chase down Santa Orc and knock him down using one of your class's knock-down abilities. If you're lacking in the knock-down department, pick up Giga Bomb items that appear in the dungeon. These items can be used to knock down Santa Orc. If you manage to knock down Santa Orc, there’s a chance he’ll drop his sack of goodies!


Knocking down Santa Orc may seem simple in theory, but in practice - well, let's just say Santa Orc is nothing without his Red-Nosed Poochums and Workshop Goblins! The Workshop Goblins hurl snowballs at you while the Red-Nosed Poochums do what all poochums do—become an annoyance if they are not dealt with swiftly!

Santa Orc's Gift Box contains an assortment of items, including a random amount of Christmas Stars (more about them below, so keep reading), holiday-themed stat boosting snacks, and even a permanent Santa Reindeer mount.



Chasing Snowmen

In addition to chasing Santa Orc, you need to chase down Snowman monsters that are appearing in dungeons! Defeat the Snowman to receive 5 Christmas Stars immediately. Another 5 Christmas Stars will get delivered to your mailbox later for completing the seasonal achievement!


Daily Login

Stay logged in to receive Christmas Stars! Here’s the details:

- Login on Weekdays (Monday through Friday): Receive 1 Christmas Star after 5 minutes, 2 Christmas Stars after 7 minutes, and 3 Christmas Stars after 10 minutes. That’s a total of 6 Christmas Stars per weekday.
- Login on Weekends (Saturday and Sunday): Receive 3 Christmas Stars after 5 minutes, 6 Christmas Stars after 7 minutes, and 9 Christmas Stars after 10 minutes. That’s a total of 18 Christmas Stars per weekend day.
- Login on December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 25 (Christmas Day): Receive 10 Christmas Stars after 5 minutes, 20 Christmas Stars after 7 minutes, and 30 Christmas Stars after 10 minutes. That’s a total of 60 Christmas Stars each holiday.

Take all of the Christmas Stars you’ve collected to Santa Orc's shop to exchange for rewards including magic- and rare-grade Reindeer Antlers, holiday-themed stat boosting snacks, and a Snow Poochum pet.
