Something I found out a long time ago and just remembered: if a DK/DrK parties a fairly low lvl cleric and spams Roar, and the cleric spams heal, the EXP gained for healing can be substantial to lvling. I am sure people know about it, but I don't recall anyone ever mentioning it, so maybe not htat many do? I did this a long time ago on my lvl 49 cleric and gained like 25%-35% in 20 minutes. So, I think it might be worth it to test it and find out what lvls this is useful on. The technique uses barely any MPs for the cleric, and the DK just has to spam roar; which I think can be solved by the cleric giving some mana elixirs to the DK for the training. Very lulzy considering that the DK can leech off a Bishop from 80+
The really fun part is that this doesn't even have to be done on a training map. For a brief time in your cleric's history you can lvl up in Free Market, which I think might be a nice change of pace.

An alternative to Dragon Roar would be to repeatedly HB and cancel, which could be done in 2nd job as well. Only problem is that it'd require more synchronization, i.e. cleric wait for HB, cast Heal, DK wait for Heal, cancel HB. But I think it's faster than Roar. Especially if there's an HP mule involved, but that's not even necessary.
By the way, you get around 1 experience every 25-26 HP healed. That happens to be a little worse than typical EXP/HP ratios, so if you can dish out damage faster than you have HP to heal, it's not really worth it except for lulz.
Which reminds me, I need to work on the Heal recovery formula...

-.- Doesn't sound like much fun, though. Training in the FM? You'd miss out on mesos, items, the joyous sound of enemies being crushed beneath your blade... But I suppose not a bad alternative to those who made warriors to fund mages.

It's also tiring. By the end of the 20 minutes I was completely exhausted because I had been rapid firing Heal the whole time. Gen spamming is about 3-4 times slower.
However, it pretty much IS the only way to train in the FM.

What is really fun is 5 DKs spamming roar with a cleric to heal em.

I did that once with a lvl 52 cleric, leeching off of 4 DK/DrKs rawring like no tomorrow while waiting for a Zrun to start. I'd have to say it's comparable exp, but there seriously could be something more substantial.
I gained over a whole level leeching off of Zakum anyways xD (and getting AR)

I would think the exp would be comparable to training with heal but 4/5 Dk's roaring in a place like STD's or another high spawn map that roar could 1-5 hit (assuming all were spamming it thats 5 hits per mob...) that was in the cleric/priest's leech lvl and with the priest you have HS

My friend heroofstars, (Lvl 200 and #2 in Khaini) was bored of waiting for pirates to come out. So he did what any respectable lvl 200 would do: made another cleric and got him to 120 in... 3 weeks... without 2x. Some of his buddies took him leeching to Zak literally nonstop, he was gaining 3 lvls here, 3 lvls there.
I still to this day do not have a clue why he made a cleric while having a lvl 200 bishop, but on a brighter note his pirate is now 16x.
Edit: wait this is the warrior forum. Sorry for off-topic.

Well for one thing the ideal Bishop/AM to leech from is one who's at the minimum level they can 1hko the leech mobs. Higher level = less exp for the leecher.

You could also achieve this by using hyper body and right clicking after the cleric heals, repeat? Note that the effectiveness of the Roar technique (for the cleric) is limited by the amount of HP healed per second a cleric can pull off if they mash their heal button. Doesn't Roar stun the DK, and thus limit the amount of HP lost per second?
EDIT: Oh crap, sorry necropost
