Basic story -
Training with AntiGobo, when the metahacker comes along (ch surfs to loot other hackers)
He leaves after getting like 2-3k and a few etcs

Few minutes of peace

Heirbody shows up, and starts no-delay SR'ing some Himes.
Me - "That's a bit rude, there are plenty of open chs"
Him - "Jp, I just wanted to see how you would react, I knew you on an old account and Basil"
Me (thinking) "IM FAMOUS!"

Anyways, he stops attacking and starts casually talking.
I ask him to turn off his trap vac (makes monsters stick to a spot on the map, my name for it, not the "official" name)
He says he can't, so I ask him to whisper from outside.
He ACTUALLY says ok and does O.o
Anyways, he was pretty pleasant and overall no complaints about him. He seems to have gotten banned for light hacking on his old DK, and got angry and began seriously hacking. One of the most calm and respectful hackers I have ever met, actually...

Anyways, anyone have any experiences like this lately, or just been dealing with botters?

Ya, lots of hackers are nice. But so are a lot of legits. Lots of legits have hacked characters on the side. So lots of hackers are nice! =)

Nah, not just that though. Hacking doesn't automatically just mean your a jerk to people.

And I've met nice/respectful hackers before, it's just pleasant to do so amidst an outbreak of rude botters...

but ive rarely had a hacker come onto the map i was on, but NEVER had one stop and talk @_@ thats just odd.

I've nothing against hackers really unless their hacking influences me in a bad way. So normally I ignore them and they ignore me back. Only a few hackers had the nerve to either defame or throw verbal insults in which I either defamed back or reported.

Don't have a "good" ss, but he was standing in the middle of the himes w/godmode using nodelay SR. The pic with swirling blue dust is him spamming SR. The actual attack animation won't show for anyone but the hacker.

Pay close attention to the etc falling from a dying hime - see any damage over it? Me either.

That was a joke playing off the fact that, as an Intel Specialist, I have access to classified information. Serious or otherwise, I get enough accusations simply from being a PA DrK, I don't need more people thinking that.
