no really, wat? They aren't the absolute bottom of the barrel worst, but why would anyone WANT nexon NA to host a game they have high hopes for? The only thing that would make that a success is the fact that aeria, gpotato and ogplanet didn't get it. The unfortunate thing is, there aren't ANY NA MMO publishers for f2p that are good, none, so the best we can hope for is a subpar port, still, that shouldn't force a person to pray a terrible company gets it just so an even more terrible company doesn't.
I dunno, I don't think Nexon America has been bad lately. Most of the biggest things that made people quit Maple came from Korea, anyways. Potential, damage cap increase, legendary pot, bonus pot, endless OP new classes, faulty coding allowing hacks and dupes, etc.. Nexon's biggest fault is their customer support and I hear it's not as bad lately? I can't confirm that myself, though.
Also, I don't see anything wrong with hoping for the least bad option to succeed. If elected official A agrees with a small amount of my views, and elected official B agrees with none of my views, should I vote for neither of them because they aren't exactly what I want? No, I should vote for A, because I'd rather have some things I like than nothing I like. What other option is there, just hoping it doesn't get localized at all?
