So who's hyped for "Cygnus: ?T?ICLGLE"?
Not even sure how you'd mess a logo up that badly, even the kerning is off.

Holy crap...they have more issues to worry about than kerning with that, hahahaha

The island is just a bunch of reused elements from other pieces of content put together to create like 3 different maps then copypasted into like 10 barely modificed others. It could have been a good idea to make it permanent content if they had limited it to 1 hour daily, but without the maps being instanced you will simply waste more time looking for a map than actually training.

Yeah I agree. It's just like Veracent and Twisted Aqua.

That's considering they keep it the same... Which they've clearly stated they aren't. I doubt they'd keep the experience the same and make it permanent, uninstanced content as well.

The draws to Mr. Lee's Island are:

1) Good exp that scales to your level, for all levels (unlike things like MPE or Evo, that also scale but have a limited level range; more like the original Red Leaf High)

2) Instanced, so you never need to deal with botters or otherwise fight for the maps.

3) Permanent mounts. (One-time reward each)

4) Wilderness Hunter's Buff (30 minutes +100 att, daily repeatable quest reward).

5) Personality traits (daily repeatable quest rewards).

Drawbacks:

1) No drops of any kind except the island's own quest items, and event drops. No meso or potions, even. (Might be seen as a plus, actually, as it keeps the botters away...)

2) No "town" area for buying potions.

3) No way off the island except winning, dying, timing out, or logging out / disconnecting.

4) Single entry. Would have been nicer to limit it to one hour total but allow re-entry if you die or disconnect, as long as you haven't used up your hour.

5) Solo.

So. How many of the draws will remain? How many of the drawbacks will be addressed?
Will it become a normal training area with maps you can grind (or bot) on for hours? Or will it become a Monster-Park type of place where you still have to move through maps (but will be able to go with a party, and maybe the maps will be sequential rather than random? Or a navigable random maze like Gollux's Labyrinth or the old Visitor's Ship?)

We'll have to wait and see, I suppose.

You sound like a narrator in some movies I've seen Chin

I wonder what good stuff these events will give...

Also Mr.Lee being a permanent addition means that me sitting on like 20 of each mount to amount to nothing lol.

I like the idea of keeping the Mr Lee's thing around, makes more sense than just removing it permanently. They should do that with more stuff.

I just threw out my old maple coins like a couple of weeks ago. I figured the event would never return.

I really feel like they use Cascading Numbers in videos because Korea thinks it's this great improvement and force it onto other version videos..

Soooo... That pretty much means they are fully ready to deploy the winter update. :O
I wouldn't mind a Dawnveil expansion at all, though.
