Good night, sweet prince

Even the best games usually only last for about 30 - 100 hours. After all of these years, maybe it is time to do the humane thing and have Maplestory take a nice long rest.

After everyone finishes saying their good byes, we could do other things like:

Eat some cereal
Smell the flowers
Take a walk in the sunlight

I am still not convinced that the game is ruined beyond repair but if it is, could this be how it all ends?

No. Only that Maple had a good run and it was fun for a while but now it might be time for us to consider burying our once beloved game and walking away, before it decays any further. (cant shake the zombie analogy. Maple is not there yet but it is getting dangerously close)

The most I really do these days is make an effort to hang out with new people and kill the occasional boss monster, such as those admin balloon things. Which, by the way, are pretty fun to hunt down. The scrolls from those things are just great.

(To chip in as far as the game living or dying is concerned: It's had a great run. If it continues, thats great. If it dies, that's fine too.)

Oh well in that case, i did just that a few weeks ago. I still come around the MapleStory websites/fansites. But as far as the game, i had permanently quit and decided to leave MapleStory in the past along with the rest of my childhood.

So now i just watch as MapleStory rots to the point where it'll eventually turn into dust that would eventually fade into the wind.

Maplestory continues to deteriorate but some people still fail to notice.

This thread sounds like another normal day in the Maplestory fanbase. Nothing to see here move along.

When I saw the thread title I thought somebody necro'd an older thread (no longer exists after searching) by the same title. Would have been coincidental too, since that older thread was also pertaining to a now-dead entity.
