Music you grind to? :3
#1
I just felt like making this thread, since I checked the list and didn't see one. :3 ...also because I have a minor case of kleptomania for music.. :3

As for me, I listen to anything that's really upbeat and rock-y. Lets me turn off the annoying sound effects/BGM of MS. My absolute favorite songs to grind to are, in order:

  1. Unbeakable-Fireflight (Listen to it, it's utterly amazing. :3)
  2. Already Over-Red
  3. I'm Not Alright- Sanctus Real, or All Because of Jesus- Fee
  4. Awakening or Stars, both by Switchfoot
  5. Oh! Gravity or American Dream, both by Switchfoot

What music do YOU grind to? :3

I listen to various things and artists, I like Metal, sometimes Electronica, and other times, just Hard Rock. Also, yes, when grinding. Pantera or/and Disturbed = great bands to listen to when grinding, btw.

D: You poor, tortured soul! Music makes MS easier, in my opinion. I don't know how I got Eroding to 5x withoooout it. ;o;

You should try grinding to music-- it makes it more interesting. :3

Oh, and I also loooooove to listen to The Best Thing by Relient K, and Friend Like That by Hawk Nelson. :3

I found that power metal bands make things alot easier to deal with grinding.
-Luca Turilli's Dreamforce, Rhapsody of Fire, Blind Guardian, Heavenly, Freedom Call

And death metal Big Grin

...lol.@Forgot about own thread. Lifeplz.

I'm not really that in to metal, but I listen to it occasionally. Red, an awesome band, has some metaly tones to most of their songs, but that's about the extent of my metal listening. xd

Another song by Switchfoot, which isn't even upbeat, that helps me immensely for some reason, is Circles. I loves it to pieces. o-o;; And Yesterdays is love incarnate, but I don't usually listen to it while grinding. xd

Lately, I've been on a huge Korpiklaani kick. It's Finnish folk metal. I happened to be browsing YouTube one day with my son looking at clips of the Swedish Chef from the Muppet Show (who remembers THAT, huh?) and someone had set him to music, and I've been hooked on Korpiklaani since. I've also really been digging Dir en Grey and Black Tide lately. And of course, every Page grinds to Dragonforce >_>. Don't ask me why I think it fits grinding with WKs over DKs, but hey.

In my playlist:

Dir en Grey:
* Ain't Afraid to Die
* Raison Detre
* Yokan
* Kodou
* Marmalade Chainsaw
* Psycho
* Hotarubi

Dragonforce:
* Through the Fire and Flames
* Storming the Burning Fields
* Heart of a Dragon
* Heroes of Our Time
* Black Winter Night

Korpiklaani
* Crimson Rain
* Wooden Pints
* Before the Morning Sun
* Beer Beer
* Hunting Song
* Spirits of the Forest

Black Tide
* Shockwave
* Warriors of Time
* Light from Above
* Shout

Stone Sour
* 30-30-150
* Made of Scars

*Raises hand* I think I remember the Swedish chef from the Muppets.. ;o

That would be a way to get hooked on Dragonforce, hearing it every day. XD ... for some freakish, amazing reason, 'Finnish folk metal' reminded me of Carmelldansen, even though I'm pretty sure they're not even from the same country. o_o;;;; Swedish =/= Finnish

Your playlist seems like mine- centered around a few good artists, and pretty much nothing else. ;3 I've seen some playlists, like even my best friend's, that has diverse music in the strictest sense of the word. XD (Mine has mostly Switchfoot and Jeremy Camp, but I have a WOW Hits CD, which has very diverse music. >>)

Mostly metal (preferably metalcore) and lately I found myself listening to The Offspring when I ground(? :f6: (would that be past tense of grind)) (although, I have only ground (there it is again) once in about a month)

I put together a playlist of upbeat music and listen to that when I grind.
Not that I grind a lot anymore anyway... I got nowhere to grind x_X

Now, will I be a weirdo and say sometimes I grind to Classical music??

You're not the only one. Nothing makes me enjoy sizzling Newts with Gen spam quite like some relaxing Beethoven. Heart

Though I don't grind much and I usually don't have a "playlist" (shuffles whole library), I'd have these:
-Dance Gavin Dance
-A Skylit Drive
-Explosions in the Sky
-This Will Destroy You
