"Muscle Milk" + Creatine?
#1
I've watched lots of instructional videos, and lots of people likes to drink protein shakes along with Creatine. I have Creatine in forms of 'pills' that I use whenever I lift. Quick question, do any of you use the protein shake called Muscle Milk? If you do, how effective is it for you?

Also, I heard that using too much Creatine can be bad or harmful for you, and it takes forever for it to go through your digestive tracts, is this true? >_O; If it matters, I lift and exercise to look atheletic, and not to look overly-bulky. Thanks!

-Kasuhitomi (aka Khoi)

PS: I also use 'Liquid Aminos' in conjunction with Muscle Milk + Creatine, is using all 3 at the same time bad? <_<;

Muscle Milk contains a sterol-derivative that gets registered whenever NCAA and professional sports conduct steroid tests. Even though it's not a steroid per se, it contains slight portions of it therefore making the athlete ineligible, in case you were planning to play anything college based.

There was a person in my class who used powdered creatine and drank muscle milk at the same time and he's fine. I think that his problem primarily would be the fact that he keeps on working out inner biceps every single time; so much that now he walks around like he's a psychiatric patient.

Perhaps the biggest concern would be when you're 40 and you wonder whether all the additives you've been using will cause heart palpitations. The truth is no one knows. But a lot of people don't want to take the initial risk.

All in all I'll think you'll be fine. As long as you're not in your 30s and you continue using additives.

Creatine is banned from NCAA as well.

Muscle Milk is expensive for the meh amount of protein it gives you. Also been told it tends to make your stomach hurt after awhile (assuming you're talking about the pre-mixed). I'd rather invest in GNC Pro Performance Wheybolic 60.

Your body naturally produces some creatine... If you take creatine for too long (I was told over 2 months or so?), your body slowly stops to produce it, which is not good...

Most of the people I know that are interested in weights and such tend to do cycles of 1 month on-and-off for that stuff. Whether that's best, I won't pretend to know.
