Scariest Horror Movies/Monsters

So I was just reading this article I got linked to from Cracked, and as a big fan of Horror Movies and the like, I think a discussion could be pretty fun (and maybe hear about some films I haven't seen yet)

I think the one horror movie/monster that scared me the most was the one from Dead Silence, which was number 8 on that list.

I mean damn, she ranks right up there with things like Pennywise the Clown. Ventriloquist dummies are scary enough, and I was already freaked out when watching that film, and then SHE showed up. I did NOT sleep well that night. not at all.

The way the film is shot.. and the damned make-up... brr... seriously, watch it or watch a clip online, images do not do it justice.

I don't know. This still scares me every time though it isn't a monster.
