found a single clean slate and threw it on my shoulder...

Can't really screenshot it, but I killed Madman Ranmaru, and he dropped a cube. The problem was, it was in the corner, buried under about 30 other recipes, and disappeared while I was trying to toss them as my pet was looting everything.

I took a 30 instead of a 20 by accident and I'm poor as pomegranate because I started in El Nido.
The annoyance of having a perm pet with meso + item pickup that's restricted to DB cash shop is real, lemme tell you.
Hell this is a fail just because I'm playing this game again when I quit like 3 years ago.

Doesn't help a Kaiser, but DBs/Cannoneers(and I think Jetts?) all share CS with other adventurers.

Yep.. thats about right. 1 Red cube makes it tier up and then I get buttloads of hp.

been there done that, i can get as far as "connecting to server", after that it disappears, and i get stuck watching my chars for like 2 mins until i get the above error.

Made an account finally, after years of lurking, just to reply to this.

Can you still not log in? I have a theory that it's because the data isn't finished loading, and it's causing the dc while you're trying to send a request to the server to login while it's doing the loading. A while back they changed the client so that it begins loading the data once you reach the login page, instead of it loading at the same time as the whole client up towards that point—this results in a faster time in reaching the login page, but now you may have to wait at the character selection screen.

Try to wait until the character card and part-time job buttons turn orange before entering your PIC, I don't know if it'll help but it's what I always do now and I don't have any issues logging in despite having a horrible computer.

done and done, i'll try to log in again today though, it's not that i particularly care much about playing.

i did manage to get in once, but DC'd after around five minutes so -shrug-
