Dear Maplers,

Please be informed that there will be a Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update for MapleSEA on the 30th December 2008 (+8 GMT), from 0800hrs to 1100hrs (+8 GMT). The Game Service will be down during this period. Please logout before this time to avoid any loss of items.

The upcoming patch includes:

Version 0.66

1) "When It Snows in Maple World" event to end on the 21st January 2009 at 0000hrs.

2) Removal of MapleSEA Crazy Year End Sales!!!

If you have problem running the auto-patch when starting the game through the desktop shortcut, restart your PC and follow the steps described in this link here:

If this fails, please download the manual patch. If manual patch does not work, please re-download the new game client. Check our FAQ section for more information.

EDIT: The Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update will be scheduled to start from 0900hrs onwards and shall conclude at 1200hrs (+8 GMT).

*** Game Client Patch and Cash Shop Update will be extended to 1600hrs.

****Game Service has resumed since 1455hrs.

This is like the old wizet patches, except with cash shop.

Considering that we already had a December patch, this patch is more of a "bug fix" kind of patch, rather than a content patch.

We (MSEA) dont have Kino yet. U can get it through a real-life event at Suntec City (its a giant mall in Singapore), though, by spending SGD$50 on a MSEA boxset, which includes a CD and some other stuff. The in-game items include:

Baby Lupin Cape


Kino

Thats all you get. The fact that you can only get these items this way...hence they charge a premium for the privilege.

More info: Kino is a very perky and active orange mushroom who loves sparkling stones. As the very first mushroom pet to be released in MapleSEA, Kino is also the official mascot for MapleStory. This pet will be available for your usage for 365 days. Only available with the purchase of this boxset!

The 10k @cash = $10.70 btw.

That makes sense. 10 for the cash, and then a pet for all 12 months, not just 3...at most, that would be another 16k (5k for the pet, 3k x 3 for Water of Life). And then the other items total out the rest if you could buy them in the CS.

Ahhh forgot about the @cash...still, that doenst make up for the shortfall. lol

I wonder if you can use the Life Water on the Kino or if you have to buy some special more expensive item to revive it.

You can use the Water of Life on Kino.

That makes a lot more sense. I didnt bother reading the description on the MSEA web >_> Do u know if that Pirate Bandana is a CS item?
