The directional arrows in Kerning City

I usually take several month long breaks before firing up the game again, so I'm always out of sync with whats going on. I'm not unfamiliar with their practice of using arrows for tutorial quests, but these things are everywhere, pointing in all different directions across the city. Is this new? Did I miss something?

There are arrows on both sides of JM From Tha Streetz pointing away from him. Maybe he just really doesn't want to be bothered.

I would totally enjoy that. I used to play a considerable amount of DDR. I still have some of that arrow reading ability. ^_^

I've run across this once in Kerning and once in Ellinia and found it rather amusing as well. It's obviously a bug.

The arrows are intended to help new players navigate to the next part of their tutorial quest. It's really convenient- when it works.

yet I've seen it happen when I do that. Just because I stated a method doesn't mean it's the only method.

Maybe you just have multiple tutorial quests open and it's displaying for all of them at the same time? They should've switched those to the new navigation system where the arrow follows you everywhere on your head.
