Delayed Skill?
#1
I use Nimble Feet while I'm grinding on my islander. I put it on a macro for the heck of it (the skill icon is on shift so I can see when the time is up - I grind with one hand using the Numpad).

When I'm grinding and it is almost up, I'll press it. The 'the skill is not available atm' or w/e will pop up, and up to a second later, the skill will activate on its own without me pressing again. Is there a reason for this?

Someone posted in another thread that they occasionally get 2 Genesis out of a macro that casts one, so I was wondering if this is the same type of deal, only the time barrier prevents it. :X

Macros tend to activate, when pressed, as soon as possible for any skill with a delay (ie, rush). Some examples -
-Rush cannot be used while airborne. Pushing macro when airborne causes rush to activate INSTANTLY when you hit the ground (great for pushing back mobs that normally knock you off when you land)
-Rush has a short delay between hits - pressing after 1 hit will cause a second hit instantly when the delay is up.
-Genesis will activate twice (because of casting delay) if macro is held down long enough (because this prompts it to activate as soon as the delay is gone).

This may just be a similar function.

If you press a Macro before entering a FM store, it will cast as soon as you leave the store but don't move. Biggrin

Thanks MasPan. I think it is the same thing as you described. Smile
