Cygnus impressions
would it be possible for me to create a "sprite blessing mule" after my main hits 200, and lvl it to as high as i can before we get KoC.. lets say its lvl 150 by the time we get cygnus.

then the sprite mule would boost my main with 15atk and my mule would get a 20atk boost? thats correct right? no waiting till we got KoC required?

I'm trying to get my Slinger to at least 80 or 90 before we get KoC for the boost, and Mas to 150. Worst case scenario, I wait til we get KoC, then abuse the 14 extra attack on my Slinger to get him to 9x quickly. Then I have a cwkpq mule and a lv 90 buff mule. Glee.

So uhm, what would happen if I would have:
- lvl 150 Shadower
- lvl 140 Buccaneer
- lvl 10 Striker

Would:
- The Shadower "buff" the Buccaneer and Striker with +15watt
- The Buccaneer "buff" the Shadower with +12watt?

Bucc would buff Shad with 15 watt.

That's not possible, who gets the +12watt (Cygnus Blessing) then?

You're saying that:
- The Shadower "buff" the Buccaneer and Striker with +15watt
- The Buccaneer "buff" the Shadower with +15watt?

Every character gets the 15watt buff? heh? I really dont get it... :o

I had to have Isaac re-explain this to me last night and here's how it goes.

All secondary characters would get a blessing from your highest character; but the highest character cannot bless itself, so the blessing is taken from the second highest character.

So your 150 Shadower would give a level 15 Blessing your your 140 Buccaneer and you 10 Striker.

Since the 140 Buccaneer is the second highest, the level 14 blessing would be taken from it for your Shadower, rather than the level 1 blessing that your Striker would only be able to produce.

So you would have two characters with a 15 Blessing, and one character (your Shadower) would have a 14 Blessing.

shadower gets level 14 blessing
buccaneer gets level 15 blessing
striker gets level 15 blessing

it's not that hard. the character receives the blessing based on the highest level character on the account other than itself.

So what's happened to the kMS economy after ~5 months of cygnus? Are all the sword/claw/bow/knuckle scrolls horribly inflated?

I... must... make... a.... sprite... mule... Um, how would I do that?

wait, i'm positive about this, my friends still aren't sure. i know that GMS is taking the old way to make a Cygnus char, using the Parent-Child function, but my friends aren't sure if that means their Blessing of Sprite is together.

some are thinking that despite how GMS makes a Cygnus, that the Blessing of Sprite only affects the 2 highest lvl chars, not the Parent and the Cygnus. i just want somebody to confirm this.

Since we're getting the parent system, the buffs only affect the parent and the Cygnus. Once they take the parent system out, every character will recieve the buff from the highest lvl character besides the highest lvl, who will recieve it from the next highest level character.

Is it likely that they will remove the parent system in the future of GMS? Since it is Nexon we're talking about, wouldn't they benefit more from players buying more character expansion slots? I am a bit curious because I don't want to make more than one Cygnus for my two characters.
