Looks like everyone got either a Mir (SS) or a Crimson Rock (SS). So it's normal.

Everyone got one. I think the only 2 you could get are Crimson Rock and Mir.

It increases the chance for you to rank up to a higher tier. You can also go epic -> legendary, but at a low rate.

You either see someone waste 120$ and get nothing good or someone who goes from epic to legend with the first cube. (Happened in my alliance today )
