New Problem - Maplestory.msi.

I decided to re-install the wonderful game of Maplestory and it's been on Extracting Maplestory.msi for about 20 minutes now.

Anyone know what this mean? >_>

It means the installer sucks.

If the progress bar moves at all, just keep waiting; otherwise, if you're convinced it's stuck, I could post my rar of the v62 folder that I uploaded recently for myself.

They're using the MicrosoftInstaller now? :X

eMS uses it too, it totally sux, it takes about 2 hours to install eMS... Well I guess it will take 3 hours to install gMS now...

If Nexon doesn't switch to a normal installer, I think they're gonna lose LOTS of players, simply because they can't install the game anymore... :o

It worked. Took a good 2 hours though.

Ugh ... for some reason when I open MS just now it told me it was installing it and couldn't find the MapleStory.msi file...guess I'll be reinstalling it too

Nooooooo don't do it, I had it too. It's just the shortcut refers to the .msi installer, for some reason...

Just remake the shortcut and replace the current one on your desktop. That solves the problem!

Oh Nexon, what are you doing? I have a feeling this new installer was not a good idea to implement during Christmas... :X

Run -> Maplestory.exe

Solved my problems.
