Patcher =/= Re-Install.

I come home excited for the 2x event and to see all the new features of Maple! I patch my maplestory and I click on Maplestory with excitement.

And then it starts to install it?

Why are you installing MAPLESTORY AGAIN!

When I click ok it says "A connection Network was not chosen". It doesn't give me anything to choose period?

Now here I am, re-downloading maplestory on both my computers. Thanks pimento nexon.

I feel ya man. It happened to me in V.62 and now again in V.63. There's no longer any point in Patching. No matter what I do it just ends up failing and deleting the .exe (exactly like last time), and then it tells me to please redownload the game.

It happened to a friend to mine today, too, as well as several other people last Patch. Nexon's made it so you pretty much have to redownload the game every time now. I love it!

I think is has happened to me also. I was able to patch fine shortly after it was released today, but about 30 minutes ago I disconnected while coming out of the cash shop, and when I tired to relog I got that error. I then re downloaded maple story off the nexon website, then run that and it says I need to patch again, so then it starts to patch but quickly stops saying that my version of maple story is too old to patch. wtp is going on.. So now im trying to patch to a "newer" old version with a manual patcher so that the automatic patcher will work, but I have no pineappleing clue what I am doing. help? oh, and I had bought a 2x card that is now being wasted

edit: if it helps, both the patcher from the nexon website and an old one from Fiel both stop at 3/3 creating Base.wz

I had this, all my shortcuts were broken + started an installation thing, but if I went to my Nexon folder it works fine.

I tried that, ended with the same result. The patchers (both auto and manual) completely delete my MS application. If I make a copy of the .exe beforehand, and then try again after the failure with the copy, the Patch corrupts before even finishing.

Seems that I have the exact same problem, except if I go through the folder directly or through Launchy, it works fine. o.o

Think how much bandwidth this cost them...

I had that, I went into nexon folder and made a new shortcut, voila, fixed.
