- On MS, just afking in fm and reading chat
- Computer alt tabs out of MS, and shuts down everything and restarts the computer
- I think it's just a window's update, when computer comes back up I get this message

1. Don't go on MS.
2. System restore to a previous date before the update.
3. Remove it yourself.
4. ???
5. Profit.

Already system restored and dled avg and currently scanning. Found an article about a security hole in Internet explorer which coincidently matches to my problem so using a different browser for now.

Anyone else got ideas?

Oh, there's your problem.

Switch to Firefox and stay that way. Seriously.

LolIE. Seriously, Fire Fox is much better. It has built in protection far superior to that of IE.

Yea i am but besides that point, everyone says if there's something on my computer, avg will find it and get rid of it. Should i take any other precautions against this thing?

As long as you system restored and AVG can't detect anything you should be fine.

At bolded part: No. Antivirus is at best a final layer of defense in case something gets through, because detection rates on new threats are absurdly low.

The best security is to keep your software (web browsers, etc) up to date, don't use programs that have a history of security vulnerabilities (IE), and have a program that alerts you when things try to add themselves to startup.
