I see what you're getting at.

Companies forcing you to wear clothing that tags you, the same as many other, equal employees, coworkers. It makes you look around at the others with the same tag, like a sea of uniform shirts and khakis. Makes you think that you're easily replaceable, you're one of many, you're part of an army, awaiting orders from above. You're not special, you're not unique, you're just another. And that's probably where that depressive sensation comes from, it's hard to go up, but you can easily go down.

Of course, all of that's in your head. A shirt, a tag, a label, an uniform, it's all on the outside, it's what people see. So, you got to make them realize that's it your personality, attitude, stuff on the inside that they should worry about.
