AIM won't turn on

I double click it, grey icon pops up in the corner (as expected), then it disappears. Has never happened before.
What the pineapple is going on? <_<

Edit:
Seems to work fine until I put my mouse over the icon. Since I don't have auto-login on... this is a problem.
